A partire dal 2018 l’associazione - sviluppando percorsi finalizzati all’avvicinamento dei giovani al teatro e alla musica e, al tempo stesso, promuovendo e sostenendo l’inserimento lavorativo di giovani talenti - riunisce i migliori professionisti emergenti under 35 del panorama nazionale nella Orchestra Europa InCanto (EICO). Obiettivo principale di Europa InCanto è di diffondere la cultura artistica, musicale e letteraria tra le nuove generazioni, lavorando con e per i giovani. I progetti organizzati da Europa InCanto e Europa InCanto Orchestra si articolano in numerose attività: concerti, laboratori musicali, progetti artistici, didattici e di divulgazione culturale e i due originali format: Dialoghi Sinfonici e Scuola InCanto. Grazie alle metodologie sviluppate e agli strumenti ludico-didattici ideati e realizzati, Europa InCanto promuove nuovi metodi per conoscere e apprendere la musica, scegliendo come punto di partenza l’opera lirica, intesa come forma di spettacolo completa, unione di teatro, danza, musica e letteratura. Tramite un confronto diretto con i professionisti ed esperti del settore, il mondo teatrale, considerato troppo spesso appannaggio di pochi, diventa cosı̀ il trait d’union tra artisti, cantanti, registi, attori e gli studenti, il nuovo pubblico di domani, che porterà tale bagaglio di competenza musicale e teatrale lungo il proprio percorso di crescita.

Give Us Barabba
Il progetto Give Us Barabba nasce nell’estate 2012 e si manifesta come un naturale e spontaneo compromesso artistico. I componenti della Band provengono infatti da esperienze differenti: Andrea Tiengo (chitarra 2012 – 2017) e Ivan Squarcina (basso e flauto traverso) hanno lavorato con band prettamente Hard Rock, Heavy Rock e Southern Rock tra le quali “Black Mama”, “Gears of Doom”, “Side One”, “Wet Balance” e “Deep Injury”. Alessandro Numa (voce, sax e sitar), spazia dal Crossover con i “FAIDA” al Reggae con la Backing Band “Fahrenheit 451” di Sir Oliver Skardy, ex leader dei “Pitura Freska“. Osvaldo Indriolo (pianoforte e sintetizzatore) e Mirco Brunello (chitarra 2012 – 2015), basano le loro produzioni più rilevanti in ambito Progressive Metal con i “Wood of Light” e Girolamo Bennici (percussioni), proviene dalle esperienze NuMetal con i “Matley” e gli “Ex-Trim“. L’esperienza del chitarrista Gabriele Valentini (chitarra 2015 – presente), spazia dal Punk al Pop Rock d’Autore. La comune passione per la musica è l’elemento che unisce i sei musicisti. In maniera del tutto spontanea, danno vita a un sound Metal difficilmente inquadrabile e volutamente definito “Regressive”. Riff Hard Rock e Metal si fondono infatti con pattern Reggae, soluzioni a volte Progressive, a volte Funky. La musica, a tratti bizzarra, dipinge un quadro perfetto dei Give Us Barabba: prendere “alla leggera” l’esperienza maturata con le altre Band, prendersi in giro e giocare con la musica. Questo è l’obiettivo principale che si pone la Band, senza però scendere a compromessi con la qualità compositiva.
