The Southern African Music Rights Organisation (SAMRO) is a leading regional copyright administration business, dealing primarily with the administration of music Performing Rights on behalf of composers, authors, lyricists and publishers. For the first 7 years, it targeted 21st Birthday parties, University Formals and Matric Dances. In 2014, Hey Mr DJ rebranded to The DJ Company, and brought Musician, Composer & DJ Liam Pitcher on board as their Head DJ. Liam has over 10 years experience as a DJ, having playing at hundreds of clubs, festivals, weddings, events, private functions & birthdays, and has independently worked with the top venues and coordinators in and around the Western Cape. NEW ADDITIONS In 2017, The DJ Company saw the addition of its newest member, Jacky Masutha.
