Gaza Culture And Development Group
The Gaza Culture and Development Group (GCDG) is a non-profit and non-governmental organization established in 1990 by a group of Palestinian intellectuals aiming at promoting cultural awareness for all categories of the society. The association works on achieving sustainable development to achieve a better and sustainable future for all. It is officially registered with the Palestinian Ministry of Interior under No. 7288 since 2003 Since its establishment, the association has implemented cultural and development initiatives and projects. And in light of the developments that occurred in the Palestinian community, including siege and closure of crossings, and the consequent deterioration in the economic, social and psychological conditions of the Palestinian society groups, the association worked on implementing relief and development projects targeting poor and affected families aiming to enhance the resilience of the Palestinian community and strengthen the participation of these families in building Palestinian community. The association also has a prominent role in enabling marginalized groups towards more participation in Palestinian community issues through enhancing their abilities, developing their skills and societal awareness as well as improving their economic conditions. Gaza Culture and Development Group works in coordination and networking with local and international organizations that agrees with it in objectives and programs in order to implement development and innovative projects that meet the basic needs of the Palestinian community and supports the association's goals in improving the livelihoods of the Palestinian citizen.

ASALA; the Palestinian Businesswomen’s Association has been actively providing loans to women since its establishment in 1997. ASALA’s headquarters is in Ramallah and it has ten strategically located branch offices throughout the West Bank and Gaza Strip. ASALA targets impoverished and excluded Palestinian women in order to empower them and put them on a track that will lead to financial independence and stability. ASALA provides Palestinian women entrepreneurs with a comprehensive package of support including guidance, counseling, training, micro, small, and Islamic financing, and extensive follow up. Success stories are real, tangible, and documented. ASALA, in partnership with women entrepreneurs, is alleviating suffocating and detrimental poverty in Palestine one family at a time. Progress may be slow, but it is stable, sustainable, and recyclable. ASALA Association is a leader in small and micro financing and believes in the role of micro-credit in the fight against poverty. ASALA also believes that its microfinance program serves as a leading model for reaching sustainable long term development. Palestinian women, often the only individual able to revive the economic life of the family due to the suffocating and exacerbating political reality, are given real opportunities to pull themselves and their families out of poverty.

Established by a group of young social activists in 2012, REFORM is an independent, secular, non-partisan Palestinian NGO that strives for a society where everyone has the capacity to participate effectively, individual and collective rights are respected, and pluralism is ensured in an independent Palestinian state. REFORM adopts a strategy of sustainably empowering marginalised groups, especially youth and women in particular from hard-to-reach communities, through establishing safe acting platforms, encouraging community-led development processes and shaping a more inclusive governing system that is responsive to people's needs. In this way REFORM addresses various social fault lines and enhances the individual and collective abilities of women and youth, contributing to the formation of a fairer society where women and youth take a leading role in public life and governing bodies actively practice needs-based policy making. REFORM has a policy of actively reaching out to communities with a particular need of safe and inclusive spaces where protection threats are high and access to services is limited, such as in Area C, E1, East Jerusalem, refugee camps, Gaza Strip and the 'seam zone'.
