Media Association Of Solomon Islands
The Media Association of Solomon Islands, MASI was established years ago in the 1990s. In 2005 it was revived after the ethnic tension and it was not until February 2006 that MASI adopted a constitution to govern various media organisations in Solomon Islands. These include newspapers, magazines, radio stations and television. On the 10th March 2017, the MASI Executive committee amended the Constitution and it was endorsed by the MASI Leadership Forum on the 30th March 2017. The current Board is made up of a President, Vice President, Treasurer, and four other Executive Board Members. The Leadership Advisory group is made up of the Media Management leaders, their role is to provide advice and feedback to the current Board Executive Committee on the overall direction of MASI, its Corporate Plan and any other issues or policies deemed relevant by the Executive Committee. The MASI office was set up on the 6th August 2017 and managed by the Chief Executive Officer who is supported by a Project Officer. On the 12th September 2017, MASI registered the Association under Company Haus as the MASI Media Association of Solomon Islands Trust Board (Incorporated). The Media Association is supported by the Australian Government, European Union, UNDP SECSIP, Solomon Government and the Solomon Islands Electoral Commission.

Japuana Youth Advocacy Association (JYAA) is a community-based Youth-led organization, Lepi Village, Isabel Province, Solomon Islands. Our aim is to empower youths to inspire positive change where they can become active protagonists in building their community. Our motto is " EMPOWER to INSPIRE" We believe that addressing issues affecting young people needs concerted effort and building strong bond of collaboration and partnership will make us achieve the best of our endeavour.
