The Oil and Gas section is a Department under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Energy within the Government of Greenland. The Department is made up of geoscientists, legal advisors and economists that handles the entire process from the initial geological prospects through hydrocarbon licencing rounds to granting the licence to the succeeding company. We work with external advisors and specialist, and work in tandem with the companies who have acquired oil and gas licences in Greenland to secure a safe oil and gas industry in Greenland.
