ABOUT US Petrojam Limited is a limited liability company, owned by the Government of Jamaica. The company operates a refinery, which was built by ESSO in 1964 and acquired by the Government of Jamaica in 1982. In 2006, 49% of its shares were sold to PDV Caribe S.A of Venezuela. Full ownership of the company reverted to the Government in February of Jamaica in 2019. Petrojam’s core business is to supply petroleum products to the local market through a mix of refining and importation. Located on the shoreline of the Kingston Harbour at 96 Marcus Garvey Drive, Petrojam operates a hydro-skimming Plant with a refining capacity of barrels per day and throughput capacity of to barrels per day. OVERVIEW OF ACTIVITIES Petrojam supplies Jamaica with a full range of domestic, transportation and industrial petroleum products. The company focuses primarily on meeting the needs of the national market, and does this through a mix of refining and importation of finished products. Customers served include the power producing; aircraft refuelling; multinational and local marketing companies.

West Indies Petroleum commenced operations in 2013 as a special-purpose vehicle to enter the ship bunkering business in the Caribbean and Latin American region. It was founded out of the need to meet the ever-growing demand for the region’s marine refuelling as well as the necessity to establish Jamaica as a global logistics hub. In June 2016, we acquired West Indies Petroleum, South Terminal, a fuel storage facility located at Port Esquivel on the south coast of Jamaica. In addition, we host the storage of barrel tanks on the north coast and a further barrels over two tug and barges in Kingston Harbour. With storage in excess of barrels, West Indies Petroleum boasts the largest fuel bunker capabilities in Jamaica. It is positioned centrally between the three major shipping lanes from the Caribbean region entering to and from South America, the Gulf Coast, stretching along the US east coast as far as Europe and Asia. Quality, safety and economic sense are the basics of our organization. We ensure full compliance with all local and international marine specifications and requirements. Our supply agreement with global fuel suppliers guarantees its customers quantity and quality certification. All products we supply meet the applicable ISO 8217/2010 standards and are in compliance with MARPOL 73/78, Annex VI. All our vessels and ventures are adequately insured and in class.
