SAKAPFET OKAP is a multimedia platform which is dedicated to the Nord department, its inhabitants, its events, its history, its culture and its own values. The name comes from the general concept of the name of the city of Cap-Haitien (OKAP) when we want to talk about this part of the country. SAKAPFET OKAP is a response to the permanent need for a local media, capable of highlighting the reality of the community while implementing a space for dissemination and promotion open to the outside world. We are happy to say that we practice community journalism. The platform covers all local news, events, while creating a space for expression for intellectuals and the general population. The mission of the platform revolves around 4 main axes: Train: Allow knowledge sharing between experts and the public through scientific articles around specific problems. Inform: Keep the population as close as possible to their reality with real-time information. Raise awareness: Campaign for the respect of fundamental human rights (human rights) Promote: Show the good facets of the community in terms of tourism, intellectual, cultural, social. It is a collaborative media that involves the individuals of its community as much as possible. Far from the capital, far from the national spotlight, we give voice to those who are too often forgotten, because they are considered negligible compared to the information needs of larger audiences. SAKAPFET OKAP is a space for those who do, who think, who create, who struggle, who innovate whatever the field, and whatever the subject. We also offer event media coverage services and production of audio-visual content of all kinds.
