EMBALLAGES / PACKAGING ALIMENTAIRE BELGIQUE C'est en 1973 que Jean Clavie reprend les rênes de la société Louis Vandenbergh SPRL située à Forest. Cette dernière commercialise des papiers d'emballage destinés aux détaillants et petites industries. Elle est composée de 6 employés et génère un chiffre d'affaire de +/- 10 millions de francs belges (+/- 250 €). Deux ans plus tard, la société change de dénomination, devient Papeteries Clavie SPRL, et élargit sa gamme de produits d'emballage en papier, en plastique, en carton, en aluminium, et adhésif en Belgique. Isabelle et Olivier Clavie se joignent à l'aventure pour seconder leur père dans les années 80 et développer cette société d'emballages en Belgique. Durant la décennie suivante, le succès grandissant, Mr Clavie déménage le magasin destiné à la vente de gros et demi-gros de tout type d'emballage et de décoration pour disposer de plus grands locaux. Il fait également construire un bâtiment industriel à Braine l’Alleud destiné au stockage des produits, aux bureaux et aux services d'expédition. En l'an la société continue sur la même voix et acquiert la société Hassaert et Metten, société spécialisée dans le trading et l'emballage industriel. Les chiffres étant toujours concluants, un second magasin de vente en gros et demi-gros voit le jour à Waterloo en 2003. En 2007, Jean Clavie laisse la place à son fils qui continuera à développer la société. C'est chose faite, en 2010, le magasin de Forest déménage à Anderlecht dans un bâtiment encore plus spacieux. Aujourd'hui, la société compte plus de 40 employés qui travaillent de manière assidue pour satisfaire le client et continuer à développer la société qui génère, aujourd'hui, un chiffre d'affaire d'environ 9,5 millions d'euros par an et constitue une des principales entreprises d'emballage en Belgique.
