The machine deckle is 3.6 m having two rewinders with a capability of rewinding upto 4 ply. The annual production capacity is about tonnes of world-class prime quality virgin tissue paper. In 1982, Cellulose Group Ltd was incorporated as a trading and foreign manufacturer’s representative firm in Pakistan. During its initial stages, the company dealt with the import and sales of paper and board catering to the printing and packaging industry. Subsequently, it expanded its product line to imported wood pulp, unbleached kraft, bleached kraft and dissolving pulp. These products were sold to industries manufacturing kraft liner, sack kraft paper, writing & printing paper, paper board, tissue paper, plastic molding compounds (urea & formaldehyde), cellulose ethers and excipients, filtration and hygiene products. In 2003, the company Cellulose Group FZC was also incorporated in the United Arab Emirates and expanded its market in UAE, India, Egypt, Bangladesh and Turkey into similar industries.
