Fiji Hardwood Corporation Limited (FHCL) commenced business in 1998 to manage the Government of Fiji's hardwood plantations. In deriving this role FHCL being a public entity is assigned to efficiently and effectively manage this plantation predominantly mahogany that has reached maturity. FHCL is responsible for the management of these plantations together with the value adding and efficient processing of the timber.
