Erafilm
ERAFILM Founded in 2001 by producers and filmmakers Sabina Kodra and Robert Budina, ERAFILM is a film production company based in Tirana, Albania. The main purpose in creating ERAFILM was the production of independent art movies, innovative in style, and to discover new talent in Albanian cinema. Our first co-production with Italy, the dramatic feature, “Letters in the Wind”, was directed by Edmond Budina. This film went on to win the Prize of Merit as one of the best movies produced in Italy in 2003. In the years that followed, the shorts, the features and the documentaries produced by ERAFILM, such as “Luleborë”, “Ballkan Pazar”, “Agon”, ”Bota”, “Made in Albania”, “Mëngë këmishe” reached countless film festivals around the world such as Karlovy Vary, Pula, Reykjavik, Shanghai, Saint Petersburg, Palm Springs, Chicago etc, winning over thirty different international awards. In 2014 and 2015, the film “Agon”, written and directed by Robert Budina and ”Bota” written and directed by Iris Elezi and Thomas Logoreci were selected as the Albania’s selection in the Best Foreign Film category at the US Academy Awards. In 2015, the dramatic feature film, “Sworn Virgin”, directed by Laura Bispuri, was selected for that year’s official selection of the Berlinale. This film collected over twenty different international awards in important film festivals such as Tribeca, Hong Kong, San Francisco, AFI Fest in Los Angeles etc. Robert Budina’s second feature film, “A Shelter Among the Clouds”, had the world premiere in Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival in Estonia, in the Official Competition in November 2018. After the film partecipated in more than 20 other festivals worldwide collecting awards such as, Global Visual Award in Cinequest Film & Creativity Film Festival in San Jose, Usa, Best Film in La Valletta International Film Festival, Malta, Best Film, Best Actor, Best Actress in PriFilmFest, Kosovo, Best Music and Sound Mix in Mediteranian Film Festival Valencia, Spain.

Teatri Oda
The Independent ODA Theatre was founded at the end of the year 2002 with an initiative of Lirak Çelaj – Actor and Florent Mehmeti – Director. On March 1st, 2003 was promoted with his first play “Vagina Monologues”. This is a reason why ODA celebrates its birthday on March 1st. Many artists and art-lovers have welcomed the opening of this theatre and they continuously support it. ODA have had a big support from media since its opening. On January 5th, 2004 ODA Theatre promoted its facilities (the only one in Kosova of this kind), where is continuing its work until nowadays. ODA Theatre is the only independent theatre in Kosova having its own space. ODA Theatre beside its own productions, has had and will have on its stage also guest theatre companies not only from Kosova, but also from Albania, Macedonia and other Balkan countries, Europe and USA. ODA is a regular member of Informal European Theatre Meeting – IETM, Balkan Express, IN SITU and a founding member of Cultrural Forum Kosova. Beside theatre performances ODA has organized and hosted different concerts, film previews, promotions etc. The space of ODA Theatre is also used for different TV Shows, Sit-Com’s, Music Videos and Films. As a part of ODA also exists ODA Gallery, where numerous exhibitions are organized.

Albanian Visual Arts Network
Who we are The Albanian Visual Arts Network is a network of independent organisations that operate in the field of contemporary visual arts in Albania. AVAN understands itself as a union of entities with diverse approaches but that share the same interest of operating and addressing their urgencies with the language of visual arts. AVAN was founded during the Vlora Art Meeting 2024 by key stakeholders of the visual arts scene of Albanian on 25 of May 2024. What we do The main aim of AVAN is to strengthen the contemporary art scene in Albania by gathering the scene to create an inspirational, collective framework which fosters collaboration and unity in future endeavors. AVAN advocates for sustainable funding and better working conditions for contemporary visual arts organizations. Our values AVAN works to ensure transparency within the network and in relations with institutions, to encourage artistic research, critical thinking and freedom of expression. AVAN is open to all formal and informal contemporary art organizations operating in Albania. The network works in solidarity with visual artists in Albania.
