La Fondation Equilibre et Nuithonie exploite à la fois le théâtre Equilibre à Fribourg, un grand plateau dédié à l’accueil de spectacles d’envergure et Nuithonie à Villars-sur-Glâne, un centre scénique de création et d’accueil. Avec plus de 70 spectacles par saison dont une dizaine de créations, la Fondation fait place à toute forme d’art scénique : théâtre, danse, musique, nouveau cirque, opéra et spectacles jeune public. LE THÉÂTRE COMME AU CINÉMA “Quatre comédiens vont tout tenter pour décrocher le rôle de leur vie. ” Un réalisateur auditionne en public quatre comédiens. Il propose des pistes à partir desquelles les acteurs doivent - sans préparation - improviser. A la fin de cette première partie, le casteur distribue un rôle à chacun puis révèle le synopsis et l'univers du film qu'il a imaginé. Les quatre improvisateurs disposent alors d'une pause de dix minutes pour se préparer à relever le défi d’écrire, mettre en scène et interpréter un "film" d'environ quarante-cinq minutes. Acteurs, éclairagistes, ingénieurs son ou musiciens improvisent ensemble en temps réel la création d'un spectacle original et unique.
