Das Theater am Schiffbauerdamm, seit 1954 benannt nach Bertolt Brechts weltberühmter Kompanie, hat als Berliner Ensemble Theatergeschichte geschrieben. Deutsche Oper Berlin

Uns war von Beginn an wichtig, das Angebot des Hep Cat Clubs sehr vielseitig zu halten. Wir sind Profis im Swingtanzen, bieten dir viele spannende Kurse und Tanzgelegenheiten und können dabei noch so viel mehr: Wir lieben Live-Musik, Events und Festivals – und nette Leute sind immer da. Pierre Boulez Saal has been designed by American architect Frank Gehry. The hall’s acoustics are the work of globally acclaimed acoustician Yasuhisa Toyota. The two have generously donated their services to this project. Our vision is to bring you closer to many different kinds of extraordinary music in an intimate setting. Spanning the centuries, here contemporary music thrives and naturally co-exists with Classical, Romantic, and 20th-century repertoire. It will be a home for Arab music in Europe and serve as an explorational stage shared by world premieres, jazz, lectures and more.

Music lovers worldwide revere the highly individual sound palette that distinguishes the Gewandhausorchester from all other symphony orchestras. This unique sound identity, along with the extraordinarily rich diversity of the repertoire which the Gewandhausorchester performs, is cultivated in over 200 performances each year in the Orchestra's three "homes": as concert orchestra in the Gewandhaus, orchestra of the Leipzig Opera and orchestra for the weekly performances of the cantatas of Johann Sebastian Bach with the Thomanerchor in St. Thomas's Church.

Hellerau - European Centre For The Arts
Hellerau Festival Theater, built in 1911 as a school of Rhythmics, is today the location of HELLERAU – European Center for the Arts, Dresden. Following an eventful history – in the 1930s it served as a military camp; later the Soviet army used it as their barracks – in the 1990s the site was brought back to life through art. HELLERAU has since become one of the most important interdisciplinary centers for contemporary arts in Germany. It is home to contemporary dance, musical theatre, contemporary classical music, theatre, performance art, the fine arts and new media, as well as a place for reflection on art and culture. The internationally renowned Forsythe Company has been the company in residence here since 2005. Since April 2009 performances have again been held at the Festival Theater all year round. Along with its partner organisations on the grounds the European Center for the Arts has been working on creating an 'arts workspace' in HELLERAU. This is a place where people experiment with art, test out art, present art. In all these enterprises, contemporary dance has top priority.

Kunstfestspiele Herrenhausen
The KunstFestSpiele Herrenhausen is an outstanding festival with music-theatre, performances, dance, concerts and installations. From May 10 to 26, 2019 numerous formats – most of them specially developed for the KunstFestSpiele – can be seen. For the 10th anniversary in 2019, festival director Ingo Metzmacher has put together a unique programme with new artistic highlights that overcome boundaries and connect artists and audience. The central festival venues – the Galerie and Orangerie, the Großer Garten, the Arne Jacobsen Foyer – are situated within the magnificent setting of the Herrenhausen Gardens. Venues outside the gardens take the festival into the heart of the city of Hannover. In the festival tent, the lively centre of the KunstFestSpiele, festival participants and audience can meet in a relaxed atmosphere. Highlights 2019 are works by Peter Sellars, Gidon Kremer, Romeo Castellucci, Kate McIntosh, Rebecca Saunders, a big birthday party and a concert with music from Frank Zappa by the Ensemble Modern. Die Oper Frankfurt zählt zu den bedeutendsten Opernhäusern in Europa. 2024 wurde sie für ihre künstlerischen Leistungen bereits zum achten Mal vom Opernwelt-Magazin zum »Opernhaus des Jahres« gekürt. Das Programm der Oper Frankfurt umfasst pro Saison circa 11 Premieren und 14 Wiederaufnahmen sowie zahlreiche Liederabende, Kammer- und Sinfoniekonzerte, Kinderopern und Sonderformate. Derzeit besteht das Ensemble der Oper Frankfurt aus 39 international agierenden Sänger*innen. Das Frankfurter Opern- und Museumsorchester – 2024 vom Fachmagazin Opernwelt als »Orchester des Jahres« ausgezeichnet – gehört zu den traditionsreichen deutschen Klangkörpern und wird regelmäßig von international renommierten Dirigent*innen und Generalmusikdirektor Thomas Guggeis geleitet. Dem Chor der Oper Frankfurt, einem der größten Opernchöre in Deutschland, werden vom Opernpublikum ebenso wie von den Kritikern herausragende Leistungen bescheinigt: Zuletzt wurde der Chor für seine außergewöhnliche Leistung in der Spielzeit 2023/24 und somit zum dritten Mal in Folge vom Opernwelt-Magazin zum »Chor des Jahres 2024« gewählt.

Pact Zollverein
Since it was founded in 2002, PACT Zollverein has clearly positioned itself as an initiator, catalyst and venue for seminal developments in the fields of dance, performance, theatre, media and art at the interface of science, technology and society. Situated in the heart of the Ruhr District, the house boasts a nationwide unique working structure which consolidates three key areas of activity addressing regional, national and international social and cultural interests which all contribute to the standing and appreciation of dance and performance as independent art forms: In its residency programme, which is open to artists from around the world, PACT operates as an artists’ centre offering space for concentrated working processes. Under the rubric platform, it initiates exchanges between artists, academics and students from diverse disciplines and promotes critical dialogue and reflection on artistic methodologies and findings. Its third main focus is on presenting an innovative and high calibre stage programme featuring premieres, co-productions and guest performances. In addition, it engages in broad ranging projects concerned with urban living, the role and impact of urban space on communities and the development of collective models and approaches to shaping urban society. Rather than seeking immediate results, PACT’s work is primarily laid out to make lasting provisions for a plurality of different possible models. It is characteristic of PACT’s concept that all areas of activity are closely linked and mutually enriching. Under the roof of the former pithead bath at the Zollverein colliery, PACT has created a space for lively encounters and exchange between actions, experience and theoretical discourse which supports and forges long term co-operative practices and partnerships.
