Miller De Nobili

Miller de NobiIi is the label for the joint works of Maria Chiara de‘ Nobili and Alexander Miller. Both completed the M.A. Choreography at the Palucca University of Dance Dresden in 2020 and already supported each other in their individual choreographic processes during their studies. In the course of the lockdown and the associated restrictions on artistic work, they decided to deepen their artistic collaboration even further: MILLER/ DE‘ NOBILI was born from the idea of finding a shared form for their respective interests in contemporary dance theatre, physical theatre, urban dance, and breaking. Their first joint work „Momento“ was created while they were still in Lockdown. It won the Scapino Ballet Production Award at the 2021 Choreography 35 Competition in Hannover and was invited to Dance Days Chania Festival and Istanbul Fringe Festival ‚21 & ‚22. Their second creation „Once upon a time“ premiered in June 2021 at the TANZ | MODERNE | TANZ festival in Chemnitz. Their latest work „PACK“ premiered in September 2021 as part of the festival „Dancing About“ as a co-production with Tanzpakt Dresden at the Festspielhaus Hellerau. After its successful debut, „PACK“ was invited to the Tanzplattform Deutschland 2022.

Stratofyzika

StratoFyzika is a collective creating movement-based interactive audiovisual performances. We are three artists of various backgrounds; each representing one “stratum” of our complex perception: audio, visual and movement layer. We use the laws of physics (Fyzika) as a metaphorical way of explaining material states from the realms of imagination, emotions and spirit. The wide range of specialization of each artist creates a unique constellation going across genres, stretching borders, revealing the connections and relationships in between our mediums. We continue in the tradition of Gesamtkunstwerk. But we do not propose one single linear direction, a creation sourcing from one individual. We collaborate in multiplicity, we suggest the possibilities, we open each other in a state of higher dimension of communication. We feel and interpret. We research sound waves, visual projection and dance movements connected through interactive technologies as an interdisciplinary way to achieve an aesthetic and sensorial experience where numbers, frequencies and bodies merge into a final equation on stage. Our goal is to create an environment with active elements, where the experience itself transforms your personal attitude about what you think you are able to perceive and leaves your mind distracted with multiple interpretations.
