Teater Vanemuine
Vanemuine on Eesti ainus kolmežanriteater, mille repertuaar ühendab endas nii sõna, muusika- kui tantsulavastusi. Aastas tuuakse lavale kuni viisteist uut lavastust, mille hulgas on eesti omanäidendeid, maailmaklassikat, klassikalise ja kaasaegse tantsu lavastusi, nüüdisdraama paremikku, kontsertlavastusi, haridusprogramme, suveprojekte ja väikelastelavastusi. Vanemuise teater, kus täna töötab ligi 400 inimest, on oma värvika ja väärika ajalooga ning ainulaadse repertuaariga ikka olnud oluline kultuuritähis, mõtteloo edasikandja ning suunanäitaja, aga ka – suurustlemata – hea eesti teatri kants. Vanemuine on suurte lugude, tunnete ning inimeste teater./ Vanemuine is the oldest theatre in Estonia, founded in Tartu in 1870 and is the only three-genre theatre in the region, staging music theatre (operas, operettas and musicals), dance theatre (classical ballet and modern dance) and drama. The theatre has three different buildings and employs close to 400 people, including a ballet troupe with a highly international cast, and a large symphony orchestra. Vanemuine is a repertory theatre – every season the programme includes more than 40 different productions in a variety of genres, including around 15 premieres every season. The theatre has always been an important cultural landmark in Estonia that carries the meaning and shows the way. Vanemuine is the theatre for grande stories, feelings and people.

1990ndatel postmodernismi ja kaasaegse teatrikeele maaletoojana Eestis teed rajanud avangardteater Von Krahl on nihutanud näitekunsti piire nii sisuliselt kui ka tehniliste lahenduste abil, hoolimata, kas tegu on Külgkorvi-sarja lavastusega proovisaalis või suurvormiga mõnes tehasehoones. Teatrit on alati iseloomustanud eri kunsti- ja meediavormide süntees, esitatava materjali käsitlemine autoripositsioonilt ning aktiivne sotsiaalne hoiak. Von Krahl peab muutuva elukorralduse ja progressiivsete kunstivooludega sammu ning tegutseb uuel aastatuhandel selle nimel, et tuua moraalselt ambivalentses ja majanduslikult segipaisatud maailmas elava inimeseni tundeliselt ja mõistuslikult intelligentseid kunstiteoseid, mille sõnum ja teostus mõjuksid intrigeerivalt, meeliülendavalt, lepitavalt ja korrastavalt. Von Krahli Teater sündis 31. oktoobril 1992. aastal. Teatri asutaja, direktor ja kunstiline juht on Peeter Jalakas.

Rahvusooper Estonia Estonian National Opera
Rahvusooper Estonia ja Eesti Rahvusballett teatri allasutusena on teiseks koduks pea pooletuhandele inimesele, kes armastavad kultuuri ning kunst ja töötavad igapäevaselt selle nimel, et luua liigutavad ja meeldejäävad kultuurielamusi oma külalistele. Rahvusooper ja -ballett pakub tööd paljude valdkondade professionaalidele lauljatest-tantsijatest kingseppade, raamatupidajate või toitlustajateni. Lisaks kunstilistele töötajatele, pakub rahvusooper töövõimalusi ka tehnilistele töötajatele ja paljude muude erialade professionaalidele. ENG Estonian National Opera and the subsidiary company Estonian National Ballet is the second home to nearly half a thousand passionate professionals dedicated to culture and the arts. Every day, we strive to create moving and memorable cultural experiences for our guests. At Estonian National Opera and the Estonian National Ballet, we offer a diverse array of high-quality performances to suit different tastes. Each season, our repertoire features 4 to 5 new productions, allowing audiences to choose from classical and contemporary art pieces in opera, ballet, operetta, musical theatre, and children's productions. Annually, we present nearly 250 performances, alongside educational projects and guided tours of our historic theatre house. Our opera and ballet company provides employment for professionals across a range of fields, from singers to shoemakers, catering or accountants. Arvo Pärt Centre
The Estonian composer Arvo Pärt is among the most renowned classical music composers in the world today and one of the few composers in music history to have developed his own unique compositional method, which he named tintinnabuli. Derived from the Latin word for chimes, tintinnabuli epitomises the qualities of purity and delicacy, expressing the very ideals of silence, purity, clarity and simplicity that Pärt strives for in his work. Located in Laulasmaa, the Arvo Pärt Centre combines the composer’s personal archive with a music centre dedicated to preserving and promoting his work. Designed by the acclaimed Spanish architects Fuensanta Nieto and Enrique Sobejano, the striking building features a 150-seat chamber hall with enchanting forest views, a screening room, a cosy library, a classroom or project space for smaller meetings, exhibition areas, a quiet chapel and a spiral tower offering stunning views. The Arvo Pärt Centre invites visitors to focus and listen to music, and its location in a seaside pine forest away from the hustle and bustle of the city creates the ideal conditions to do this. By borrowing an audio guide, visitors have the opportunity to listen to a large part of Arvo Pärt’s oeuvre and take a guided tour of the centre. The chamber hall, with its excellent acoustics and inspiring atmosphere, regularly hosts high-level concerts, lectures and film evenings. The hall is also suitable for holding conferences and receptions. The permanent exhibition When you seek from almost nothing takes visitors on a journey through Arvo Pärt’s world of thought, as they encounter the composer’s reflections on the human condition and creation written down over the decades. Just as Arvo Pärt’s creative aesthetic is subtle and unobtrusive, so the centre named after him affords its visitors a space and time to engage with music and silence.
