Helsinki International Ballet Competition
The first Helsinki International Ballet Competition took place in 1984, and since then the competition has been arranged approximately every fourth year. Today the IBC Helsinki is one of the most highly regarded international ballet competitions. The IBC Helsinki is a one-week professional journey of artistic and technical excellence for young, talented dancers from all around the world. The competition has two categories: junior dancers from age 15 to 19 and senior dancers from age 20 to 25. The program consists of both classical and modern repertoire. See future ballet stars in Helsinki as the ninth IBC Helsinki competition will be held at the National Opera and Ballet from 31 May to 6 June 2022.

Jojo - Oulu Dance Centre
JoJo – Oulu Dance Centre is a dynamic professional production centre in Northern Finland. We offer a versatile international programme of dance performances. The main focus is on contemporary dance and contemporary fusions of other forms of dance. The annual programme includes the OuDance Festival in September. JoJo serves professional dance artists as a production centre and guest theatre, and offers international residency exchange programmes. JoJo is one of the four member organisations of the Regional Dance Centre in Northern Finland. The activities of JoJo – Oulu Dance Centre are funded by the Finnish Ministry of Education and Culture and the City of Oulu.

Susanna Leinonen Company
Susanna Leinonen Company’s artists are united by a desire to give the audience the experience of total art works that have Leinonen’s visionary choreography at their core. Uncompromisingly made works are comprised of specially-composed music, movement language that is characteristic of the group, costume design that supports the narrative, and lighting that unites the different aspects as a whole. Susanna Leinonen Company was formed in 2001. It qualified to receive state support in 2008, and two years later, in 2010, it was chosen to be included in a Ministry of Education cultural export programme. Since 2010 Company is also funded by the City of Helsinki. During the years that it has been running, Susanna Leinonen Company has produced a new work every year. Separate works comprise a series of such a consistently high standard that the company is deservedly at the forefront of contemporary dance. Edistämme myös näiden alojen kansainvälistä yhteistyötä ja vientiä. Toiminnallamme tuemme myös tanssi- ja sirkuskulttuurin asemaa Suomessa.* We produce and disseminate information about the circus and dance sectors’ activities and actors, conditions, results and impacts, and aim to develop these arts in our country. We also facilitate international cooperation and exports in these fields. Our activities are funded by the Ministry of Education and Culture.

Red Nose Company
Red Nose Company on perustettu vuonna 2005. Se on Suomen ensimmäinen klovneriaan erikoistunut ammattiteatteriryhmä. Ryhmä toimii Helsingistä käsin, mutta sen toimintakenttänä on koko Suomi. Red Nose Companylla on ollut viimeisen neljän vuoden aikana jo yli 30 katsojaa ympäri maan. Ryhmä tekee yhteistyötä maamme merkittävimpien teatterinäyttämöiden kanssa – kuten Kansallisteatteri, Helsingin kaupunginteatteri, Aleksanterin teatteri – mutta se kiertää esiintymässä myös pikkupaikkakunnilla, seuraintaloilla, kouluilla ja palvelutaloissa. Red Nose Companyn ohjelmistossa on esityksiä kaikenikäisille. Perinteisten teatterikatsojien lisäksi ryhmä tavoittaa ikäihmiset yhteistyössä Kansallisteatterin Kiertuenäyttämön kanssa, ja toimii laajamittaisesti koulujen parissa. Vuonna 2017 ryhmä valittiin mukaan kulttuurirahastojen Taidetestaajat-hankkeeseen, jonka puitteissa tarjotaan kulttuuria kahdeksaluokkalaisille. Red Nose Company on myös suunnitellut ja toteuttanut Culture Curtain -hankkeen turvapaikanhakijoille. THE HOTTEST INDEPENDENT THEATRE IN FINLAND Red Nose Company´s shows combine theater clownery and physical comedy with storytelling, improvisation, live music and witty stand-up comedy. Our performances are intelligent, skillful, groovy and visually stunning. We’ll entertain you and make you laugh. But we’re not afraid to tackle difficult subjects. Our performances have addressed, among other things, active feminism, domestic violence, racism, European identity, political populism and hate speech. We`ve been on tour from 2008, and have performed to over 50 fans during last 5 years! We co-operate with all of the biggest theaters in Finland, including the National Theatre. Currently we have 5 shows running: Babylon, Don Quixote, Trench Road, Emperor´s New Clothes and Red Line. We have performances available in Finnish, English, Swedish and Spanish. Studio Move Up on latinalaiseen tanssiin ja tankotanssiin erikoistunut tanssikoulu, joka tarjoaa monipuolisesti tunteja ja haasteita kaiken ikäisille! Tanssistudiomme sijaitsee Kouvolan ydinkeskustassa. Opetamme tanssia säännöllisesti muuallakin Kymenlaaksossa, kuten Haminassa ja Kotkassa sekä esiinnymme ympäri Suomea. Taide kuuluu kaikille!(in English below) Uskomme, että taiteen tekeminen ja kokeminen ovat mahdollisuus avoimeen kohtaamiseen ja keskusteluun. Taide voi tarjota mahdollisuuden ilmaista itseään, tunteitaan ja ajatuksiaan ja samalla käsitellä maailmassa tapahtuvia asioita ja ilmiöitä – ikään ja sukupuoleen katsomatta. Liian usein uskotaan, että taide kuuluu vain jollekin rajatulle ihmisryhmälle, mikä ei mielestämme ole, eikä ainakaan saisi olla, totta. Yhteiskunnassa vallitsee liian kapea käsitys siitä, millainen mies tai nainen saa olla, mitä hän voi harrastaa ja mistä hän voi nauttia. Yhdistyksemme tarjoaa erilaisia mahdollisuuksia tehdä ja kokea taidetta. Olemme kiinnostuneita tutkimaan taiteen ja taidekasvatuksen mahdollisuuksia yhteiskunnassamme ennakkoluulottomasti ja kriittisesti eri taiteenalojen kautta. Haluamme kannustaa ihmisiä positiiviseen vuoropuheluun. Tervetuloa mukaan toimintaamme- Art belongs to everyone! We believe that making and experiencing art is an opportunity for open encounters and discussion. Art can be an opportunity to express oneself, one's feelings and thoughts, while addressing issues and phenomena in the world - regardless of age or gender. Too often, there is a belief that art belongs only to a limited group of people, which we believe is not, and certainly should not be, the case. Society has too narrow a view of what a man or woman can be, what they can do and what they can enjoy. Our association offers different opportunities to make and experience art. We are interested in exploring the possibilities of art and art education in our society through different artistic disciplines in an open-minded and critical way. Teatteri Tuike on vuonna 1997 perustettu helsinkiläinen ammattiteatteri. Teatteri Tuikkeen erityisenä taiteellisena painopisteenä ovat erikoistuminen visuaaliseen teatteriin sekä aistiteatterin moninaisten muotojen rohkea tutkimus ja edistäminen.
