Aat Artūras Areima Theatre

This newly created theatre’s vision is to disturb the typical theatrical posture, break stereotypes, to flee from known and unknown theatrical clichés, get away from knowing. Theatre breaks into „life“(social consequences), theatre takes place not only in theatrical spaces "black boxes ", but in everyday life environment, e.g: stairwells, cemeteries, museums, etc. Scenography turns into given space, the environment itself will represent scenography. This theatre is not limited by the expression of dramaturgy. Performances should be light, unobstructed, and ironic. Stage action insulation is systematically destroying. The performance should remind sketch, not the complete picture, so the viewer should be able to feel his own presence, think freely, refuse forced pressure. The aim is to gradually reduce tension so that the viewer could further focus on the actors' being on the stage and their physical actions, conceptual links, rather than alleged, theatrical clichés imposed on acting. Viewers of this theatre should not immediately perceive what they saw. They should accumulate experience and maintain free- floating attention. It is important for us, that the ongoing performance or stage action could be seen not only by the target viewer (who bought the ticket), but also, fell into theatrical action, a casual passer-by, who is not aware of production of the theatre or any ongoing process.

Lukiškės prison 2.0 is probably one of the most interesting cultural phenomena in Lithuania because the former prison is transforming into a hub for music, modern art, design and culture. A community of around 600 artists, musicians, dancers and so on have started creating a new story of the prison in summer 2021. You will not believe how time flies by in a prison today. And everyone is allowed to leave… If they choose to.

KOSMOS THEATRE is an independent company which focuses on combining classical theatre forms with achievements and technologies of contemporary science. Established in 2012 the creative team moved to seek for new artistic forms. By gathering young artists and bringing them creative platforms involving education the company started to push the limits in order to become an center of contemporary art experiments in Lithuania. Stepping in a new decade, from 2020 company is moving by a new KOSMOS manifestation created by artistic Director Žilvinas Vingelis and producer Darius Vizbaras 1.Multi-gender theatre. Mystical visual musical theatre rises of combining live music, drama, puppetry, modern dance and visual media. 2.Analyze a dreamy reality. Unconsciousness, dreams, memories, virtual reality are the only measures of theatres reality. Theatre researches these pseudo realities, visual characters and relevant manipulation tools to represent characteristics of our dreamy reality. 3.Science and art is the content. Creation of scripts involves contemporary science achievements and scientific topicality. Create teams involving scientists and artists whom can lead scientific researches in becoming material for performances. 4.Science and art is the form. Combine contemporary approaches (3d animation, virtual reality ect.) with classical theatre genders. Research new forms and combinations to create theatrical installations. 5.Theatre in public spaces. Actively transform spaces to become theatre. From festivals and fairs to performances and visual installations. By establishing performances in various cultural spaces, prioritise advertisement by street art principles.

A|CH theatre was established in by director-choreographer Anželika Cholina. Today A|CH theatre is one of the most prominent, professional and successful Dance theaters in Lithuania- A|CH performances stand out with its subtle aesthetics as well as choreographic and directing ideas. Sensual and emotional performances based on synthesis of ballet, dance and acting. According to the choreographer, the means of expression and the choice of dancers and actors depend only on the performance theme. And their range is truly wide, varying from ancient dramas and productions of world literature classics to choreographic improvisations inspired by observing the world. Performances are loved and recognized by spectators as well as theatre professionals. Theatre successfully touring in Lithuania and Latest dance performances "The Queen of Spades","The Idiot","Othello" and one already become legendary and that can not be unmentioned -"Anna Karenina".

Vilniaus universiteto Dainų ir šokių ansamblis – tai seniausias studentų dainų ir šokių ansamblis Lietuvoje, vienas labiausiai vertinamų tautinio meno puoselėtojų bei skleidėjų, išgarsėjęs novatoriškumo ir archaikos elementų derinimu savo programose. 2025 metais ansamblis mini savo veiklos 85-ių metų sukaktį. Prisidėti prie Vilniaus universiteto Dainų ir šokių ansamblio jubiliejinių metų minėjimo galite padovanodami simbolinę dovaną – skirdami paramą specialiai šiai progai Vilniaus universiteto fonde įsteigtam projektui: The Vilnius University Song and Dance Ensemble, one of Lithuania’s oldest folk art groups, has been active for 85 years. Its programs blend lyrical music with lively tunes, authentic songs in modern arrangements, and dances reflecting national traditions and regional styles, from South-East Lithuanian polkas to Highland multipart songs. The ensemble also showcases ethnic costumes and stylized choreography. They regularly perform at national and international festivals, including UNESCO-listed Song and Dance Celebrations and the Baltic Students Festival Gaudeamus. The ensemble has earned top awards such as 'Aukso paukštė' and laureate titles in contests like 'Klumpakojis' and 'Kadagys'. Over the decades, they have toured four continents and more than 30 countries, including Australia, Mongolia, and the USA. In 2025, the Ensemble celebrates its 85th anniversary. The installation Forever in Motion is a synthesis of light and sound, revealing the identity and emotional state of the modern man in Western society. Its founder and choreographer, Laura Geraščenko, is the author of numerous projects and performances that have brought together artists from various fields nationally and internationally.
