New West Symphony
Founded in 1995, the New West Symphony is a professional orchestra that draws its players from the rich talent pool of professional Los Angeles-area musicians. With artistic direction led by GRAMMY® winner Maestro Michael Christie, appointed as music director in December 2018, the Symphony is the resident company of the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza and performs at the Rancho Campana Performing Arts Center in Camarillo. It presents six Masterpiece Series concerts annually, performing major works from the symphonic repertoire with internationally-acclaimed artists as guest soloists. The Symphony also provides quality outreach and educational opportunities for the communities it serves through its annual Symphonic Adventures concert programs for youth, its traveling Music Van, and the Laby Harmony Project, a year-round music and leadership program for underserved students.

Each season, we reach over children and families through: • Five mainstage theater productions for families, based on books and stories that children are reading right now. • Designated performances for school field trips, including free admission scholarships for underfunded classrooms. • Year-round Acting Academy classes that teach students (ages 3 to 18) the craft of theater while fostering life skills such as confidence, communication, compassion, and collaboration. • A Young Professionals Company that serves 60 aspiring young artists, ages 14 to 19, who seek advanced training through exposure to college-level workshops, professional development, mentorships, and community resources. • Support for educators in using theater to support their classroom teaching, including school-based programs that teach public speaking and creative writing. • Our Educational Theatre Program (a partnership with Kaiser Permanente since 2006) which delivers performances, workshops and residencies in schools and in the community, encouraging healthy choices, resiliency, and mindfulness.

Playground, Inc
PlayGround is the Bay Area’s leading playwright incubator, providing unique opportunities for the cultivation and development of early-career local playwrights and partnerships with leading professional directors, actors and theatres. Since 1994, PlayGround has developed and staged more than original ten-minute plays by 250 early-career writers, and is now California's leading developer of short works for the stage. The company has also become one of the most important commissioners of full-length work by new writers, with 94 full-length commissions completed since 2002 and 3 new works currently in development. Over the past 16 years, PlayGround has also directly supported the full production of commissioned works in partnership with Bay Area professional theatres and in 2010 launched the New Play Production Fund (NPPF) to help increase production of new plays by local playwrights. During the past 28 seasons, PlayGround’s alumni have gone on to win local, national and international honors for their short and full-length work, including recognition at the NY International Fringe Festival, Humana Festival, Sundance Festival, and Bay Area Playwrights Festival, among others. In a 2008 Theatre Bay Area Magazine article on the Bay Area’s top up-and-coming playwrights, 9 of 13 were PlayGround alumni. PlayGround was recognized with the Bay Area Theatre Critics Circle’s 2009 Paine Knickerbocker Award and the Playwrights Foundation's inaugural New Play Champion Award.

Raleigh Little Theatre
Raleigh Little Theatre is a welcoming community using theatre to enrich, educate, entertain, and engage volunteers, students, and audiences of all ages. In 1936, a group of passionate local performers joined forces with the Federal Theatre Project to begin a community theatre in Raleigh, joining a nation-wide movement of little theatres focused on intimate, non-commercial theater. Civic leader Cantey Venable Sutton pushed through bureaucratic red tape and galvanized the federal Works Progress Administration construction of the initial campus, which included a 300-seat proscenium theater, outdoor amphitheater, and a Rose Garden. RLT's founding united the spirit of the Little Theatre Movement with the mission of the Federal Theatre Project, which aimed to employ artists, create relevant art, and provide entertainment for low-income families. This commitment to accessibility defined the organization early on and continues today, with a focus on keeping ticket prices affordable, choosing accessible while challenging theatrical works, and opportunities for anyone in the community to be involved by getting on stage or working behind the scenes. Though a student or actor going on to become a professional in the performing arts is not the primary mission of RLT, a number of performers have gone on to acclaimed careers. Andy Griffith performed at RLT multiple times, including in a revival of "The Drunkard" in the 1951-52 season. Other notable performers and alumni include Randy Jones (later the cowboy in The Village People) and Clay Aiken (platinum-selling recording artist). The education program was recognized with the 2002 Constance Welsh Theatre for Youth Award by the North Carolina Theatre Conference (NCTC). RLT was inducted in to the Raleigh Hall of Fame in 2007. In 2012, RLT received the Community Theatre Award from NCTC for the second time. RLT has won a number of the Independent Weekly's awards for Best Live Theatre, most recently in 2016.

Rivercenter For The Performing Arts
RiverCenter Incorporated is a 501c3 nonprofit arts organization with a 2.8 million dollar operating budget. It presents its own season of shows and educational programs while managing RiverCenter for the Performing Arts, located in the heart of uptown Columbus, Georgia. The Center is a keystone that supports the cultural life of the community. Since 2002 RiverCenter has hosted hundreds of national and international shows and immersed over a million patrons in the performing arts. In addition to presenting its own season of shows and educational programs, RiverCenter provides a home for the Columbus Symphony Orchestra, Schwob School of Music, Youth Orchestra of Greater Columbus, Cantus Columbus, the Columbus Ballet, and many third-party tours. The facility is a visually stunning blend of the past and the present, mixing the brick and ironwork of the area’s historic buildings with a modern multi-level glass and steel façade. Its spacious entrance is graced by a tall glass “curtain” wall and a soaring staircase. RiverCenter’s state-of-the-art facilities includes: the center’s main venue, a modern and massive Bill Heard Theatre; the elegant and intimate 430-seat Legacy Hall; the 150-seat black-box Studio Theater; and an outdoor event space on the Illges Plaza.

Founded in 1978, the San Francisco Girls Chorus and the Chorus School have become a regional center for choral music education and performance for girls and young women ages 7-18. More than 360 singers from 160 schools in 44 Bay Area cities participate in this internationally recognized program, deemed “a model in the country for training girls’ voices” by the California Arts Council.
