Offering a wide range of classes from beginner to advanced, our faculty of highly trained teachers are thrilled to give your children an experience to last a lifetime! In 2016, we built a new facility in Northfield to bring even more students into the exciting world of DANCE! The studio holds seven dance rooms with custom sprung dance floors and sound systems. Chanticleer
The Grammy Award-winning vocal ensemble Chanticleer is known around the world as “an orchestra of voices” for its wide-ranging repertoire and dazzling virtuosity. Founded in San Francisco in 1978 by singer and musicologist Louis Botto, Chanticleer quickly took its place as one of the most prolific recording and touring ensembles in the world, selling more than one million recordings and performing thousands of live concerts to audiences around the globe. Rooted in the Renaissance, Chanticleer’s repertoire has been expanded to include a wide range of classical, gospel, jazz and popular music and to reflect a deep commitment to the commissioning of new compositions and arrangements. The ensemble has dedicated much of its vast recording catalogue to these commissions, garnering Grammy Awards for its recordings of Sir John Tavener’s Lamentations & Praises and the ambitious collection of commissioned works entitled Colors of Love. Chanticleer is the recipient of Chorus America’s Dale Warland Commissioning Award and the Chorus America/ASCAP Award for Adventurous Programming. During his tenure with Chanticleer, its Music Director Emeritus Joseph H. Jennings received the Brazeal Wayne Dennard Award for his contribution to the African American choral tradition. Named for the “clear-singing” rooster in Geoffrey Chaucer’s Canterbury Tales, Chanticleer continues to maintain ambitious programming in its hometown of San Francisco, including a large education and outreach program, and an annual concert series that includes its legendary holiday tradition “A Chanticleer Christmas.”

Charlotte Ballet
Founded in 1970, Charlotte Ballet is known for its strong dancers and versatile repertoire, ranging from classical ballet to bold, contemporary works. The company’s professional dancers annually present performances in Charlotte, N.C, during a season spanning from October to May. Alejandro Cerrudo has served as Artistic Director since 2022. Charlotte Ballet Academy trains 700 students annually and the company has nationally recognized educational and community programs. Charlotte Ballet operates the Patricia McBride and Jean-Pierre Bonnefoux Center for Dance in uptown Charlotte. Chicago A Cappella
Chicago a cappella was created in 1993 with the vision of bringing together a small group of fiercely talented singers to celebrate every genre of music imaginable with equal passion and commitment. Chicago a cappella’s season includes concerts in Chicago, Evanston, Naperville, Oak Park, and other communities, as well as special performances and informal events. Beyond performances, Chicago a cappella pursues its mission of furthering the art and appreciation of ensemble singing with other programs and activities, including student outreach programs, workshops, masterclasses, and HerVoice, which mentors and promotes emerging women composers. The ensemble has released 10 recordings, including its latest, Miracle of Miracles on the Cedille Records label. The group has been featured on the nationally-broadcast radio series Performance Today over 30 times and made dozens of tour appearances throughout the U.S. and Mexico.

Chicago Ballet Arts
Chicago Ballet Arts (CBA) was founded in 1986 and was born from a desire to create a school that infused the rigor of a pre-professional dance program with an inclusive, nurturing environment. The original focus of providing access and opportunity to high quality ballet training for all with the desire to learn is still central to this non-profit organization's mission today. CBA served Chicago's north and northwest neighborhoods for over 34 years before moving to Evanston, IL in the fall of 2020. In addition to its long standing Preparatory and Pre-Professional Divisions, the school now includes two performance ensembles and Enrichment and Adult Divisions, which provide expanded offerings for a range of dancers. CBA alumni have gone on to prestigious university dance programs and professional dance companies and current students are accepted into some of the country’s top summer intensives each year. Theatre programs for ages 5–18+, featuring two productions per year—one scripted and one devised collaboratively by participants drawing from their own ideas and lived experiences. Community Outreach programs, including tailored workshops for elementary, middle, and high school students. These workshops invite participants to explore their voices and stories, culminating in the creation and performance of original work. Our programming is built on the belief that art and science are not only compatible but mutually enriching. Each year, we explore scientific questions and themes within our creative process, encouraging critical thinking alongside artistic expression. Children's Chorus Of Greater Dallas
Now entering its 17th season, the Children’s Chorus of Greater Dallas (CCGD) is one of America’s largest and most prestigious youth choral programs. Under the leadership of Artistic Director Cynthia Nott, CCGD pursues its mission of "providing Dallas-area young people the experience of artistry and excellence through choral singing in a group that reflects the area's diversity." CCGD’s nine choral ensembles serve nearly 500 children and teens in grades 4–12, drawn from 43 communities throughout a 33-mile radius of downtown Dallas. Approximately 3,900 patrons annually attend CCGD’s season concerts, held at Dallas’ world-class Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center. Through ancillary regional performances, national and international tours, and community engagement initiatives—including Outreach Chorus Tours, Summer Singing Camp, and learning partnerships with the Dallas Independent School District—CCGD extends the enrichment of choral music to up to additional children, youth, and adults each year. Heralded by acclaimed conductor Jaap van Zweden as “one of the best [children’s choruses] I’ve ever heard,” CCGD enjoys a reputation for artistic excellence within the classical music community as well as among audiences at home and abroad.

Cleo Parker Robinson Dance Ensemble (CPRDE) is internationally esteemed as one of America’s foremost modern dance companies. Under the direction of Cleo Parker Robinson, the Ensemble performs a dynamic body of works inspired by the African American experience and rooted in ethnic and modern dance traditions worldwide. CPRDE numbers 10 of the most talented and versatile dancers in the U.S. A typical CPRDE season includes an international tour, a U.S. tour to more than 10 cities and a full Performance Season in Denver, CO. The CPRD Academy serves as the official school of the world-renowned CPRDE. As the fog of 2020 began to lift over the San Francisco Bay Area, an inspired new entertainment venture emerged: one that signals the return to form of our beloved City by the Bay. The resident show at Club Fugazi,@the7fingers Dear San Francisco, opened 9/12/21 and was named “The Best Night Out” by San Francisco Magazine. Also “Best Date Night” and “Best Family Night.” The Club also is home to live music, comedy, speakers series, and a Sunday Drag Brunch. Collage Dance

Community-Minded Dance
CMDance's vision is to increase access to dance experiences enriching the lives of children and community members Our programs consist of: Reaching youth throughout Denver public schools Hosting International dance festivals Connecting the community through dance & music In Community-Minded Dance founder and executive director Caryn Carrasco found herself enveloped in the cultural revival of American swing music and dance. Inspired by this global dance movement, CMDance comes to life as the first organization responsible for world-class social dance education and arts programming. In 2007, CMDance secured 501(C)3 status and began to respond to the high demand from school administrators. In 2010 CMDance partnered with Denver Mayor’s Office of Children’s Affairs and Denver Great Kids Head Start (DGKHS) to develop a program that would introduce dance and movement into Head Start classrooms. Today, CMDance holds a prominent position in the Colorado arts scene with both its school outreach and broader community engagement. CMDance hosts three annual, nationally recognized dance events, and 100% of the proceeds from those events support our youth programs. CMDance partners include Arts and Venues Denver, Denver Art Museum, Denver Museum of Nature and Science, Denver Botanic Gardens, Downtown Denver Partnership, Tango Colorado, and Colorado Swing Dance Club.

Conspirare
Conspirare was founded in 1991 and has grown rapidly to become an internationally recognized, professional choral organization that combines outstanding vocal artistry with innovative programming. Led by renowned founder and artistic director Craig Hella Johnson, Conspirare is comprised of two performing ensembles and an educational program. The professional chamber choir (“Conspirare” or "Company of Voices") of extraordinarily talented singers from around the country is presented in an annual concert series in Austin, other Texas communities, around the U.S. and abroad. The Conspirare Symphonic Choir of both professional and volunteer singers performs large choral/orchestral works. often in collaboration with other music organizations. The Conspirare Youth Choirs is an educational program for young singers ages 8-17, who learn and perform in two separate ensembles, Kantorei and Allegro (formerly Conspirare Children’s Choir). Conspirare is operated by 7 full-time and 8 part-time staff members and governed by a volunteer board of directors.

Continental Ballet Company enriches the community by advancing the art of classical ballet through professional performances, dancer development, and educational programs bringing ballet to all people. From our staff, artists, volunteers, and Board of directors, the Continental Ballet family works tirelessly to ensure that we stay true to our unique vision of ballet under the direction of Riet Velthuisen. The company has over twenty performances a season. The Company has been providing professional performances and educational programs for 28 years in the Twin Cities. In addition to programs in the Schneider Theater in the Bloomington Center for the Arts, the Company has an active and successful touring program. The John F. Kennedy Center for the Arts in Washington D.C. has awarded recognition to Continental Ballet Company and placed them on their Roster of Approved Artists. CBC Performs classic ballets such as, Swan Lake, Sleeping Beauty, Nutcracker, Paquita, Cinderella and Coppelia, We have presented over 130 formal performances to people statewide and reached over K -12 children through school residencies and outreach activities The Founder/Director is Riet Velthuisen, a native of Holland and former professional dancer with several European companies including the Dutch National Ballet. Continental Ballet School ensure that the traditions of ballet are sustained and carried on with education and training. Our instructors are dancers with the company. They are motivated to teach because of their love of ballet and their desire to share their knowledge and experience.

Copernicus Center, Chicago
The Copernicus Center venues hosts Concerts, Cultural, Business and Community Events. Just as Northwest Chicago became host to MANY cultures. so did the Copernicus Center. Our venue is a frequent host of international music events and theatrical performances from around the world. Our unique and historical theater has also hosted national stars such as Dickey Betts, Yes, Pat Benatar, Third Day, and more recently, YouTube stars such as DeFranco, Miranda Sings. and Girls Night In. The preservation of one of Chicago's most historic theaters (former Gateway) is also important to the Copernicus Foundation.
