California Ballet presents high quality professional ballet and dance performances through support of a resident company of professional dancers. CBC is San Diego's premier professional ballet company presenting classic and innovative dance productions in the renown San Diego Civic Theater. We offer highly qualified and well respected Judges, fairness in age grouping and performance time allowances, clear and constructive critique reports, guidance during our pre-competition Master Class, and a positive on-stage dancing experience for each and every CDC competition participant. Our Judges are selected through a strict vetting process. Those considered for this critical position must have an appreciation for Ballet, knowledge of the art, a positive reputation, solid experience, and a genuine desire to encourage our participants.
