Unique in Belgium, 100% of the donations we receive go directly to the selected charities. This is made possible because- Operational costs are covered through special donations, event proceeds, and income from our endowment fund, the Martin Kallen Fund- Our commitment ensures every euro donated has maximum impact. Our approach - Regional balance: We support projects across all regions and provinces of Belgium, ensuring equitable distribution of funds- Thorough selection process: Every association is personally visited by our representatives to assess the feasibility and value of their projects. Our Allocation Committee, made up of volunteers active in their local communities, ensures that only worthy and viable projects are funded- Corporate partnerships: We collaborate with companies to align their support with projects that resonate with their values. UFB strives to create meaningful change by bringing together donors, companies, and charitable associations. This group made up of 4 founding members of Belgian civil society from various backgrounds, supported by many volunteers, aims to gather a maximum of weeks of vacation to be offered at the end of the crisis to caregivers of hospitals facing first line at Covid-19. The action of the group is entirely voluntary and calls on the generosity of owners of vacation properties. The weeks will be distributed at the end of confinement to the hospitals designated by the owners or via a bailiff on an equitable basis to the other hospitals. La Fondation Dyslexie est une Fondation d'utilité publique francophone, inspirée et créée en 2008 par son fondateur Benoit de Villemeur. Elle accompagne les dyslexiques dans leur quotidien, mais également leurs proches, enseignants, employeurs, thérapeutes et les responsables des réseaux d’enseignement afin de faciliter leur intégration et leur permettre de vivre leur différence comme une force et non un handicap. Son ambition est de contribuer à l’émergence d’une société interconnectée, basée sur la valorisation des spécificités de chacun, l’inclusion et la satisfaction d'être ensemble. Elle agit pour fédérer et animer un réseau d’acteurs, dont l’objectif commun est de faire évoluer les croyances sur la DYverSité, éclairer la société sur l’incroyable réserve de talents que constituent les dyslexiques et proposer des solutions pour engager le monde francophone dans la dyslexie positive. La Fondation intervient exclusivement sur les questions touchant à la DYSLEXIE, et compte déjà une trentaine de collaborateurs et chargé(e)s de mission orientés sur les autres dys ou les autres difficultés d’apprentissage.

Law Students With Refugees est une association originaire de l'ULB, elle est née de l'intérêt commun d'étudiants de la faculté de droit pour le droit des étrangers, la cause migratoire et la situation des demandeurs d'asile en Belgique. Actuellement, elle est non seulement composée d'étudiants en droit, mais également d'étudiants en psychologie clinique, ce qui a considérablement enrichi nos missions de soutien et de sensibilisation. En effet, nos activités se développent en deux axes : la sensibilisation et l'aide pratique aux demandeurs d'asile. D'une part nous mettons l'accent sur des conférences, des formations, des récoltes et des publications sur nos réseaux sociaux afin de transmettre un message sensibilisant à la communauté. D'autre part, l'association s'organise autour de deux pôles clés dans notre mission d'accompagnement qui sont le pôle "permanences juridiques" et le pôle "récit de vie".

Terres Rouges
Association active depuis 2009 en Afrique de l’Ouest, Terres Rouges aide, soigne, réinsère et autonomise les enfants et les jeunes en danger dans la rue en répondant à leurs besoins de base, privilégiant un accompagnement psychosocial. Terres Rouges a vu le jour en 2008 en Belgique. L’association a été fondée par des professionnels de la santé mentale qui voulaient développer des projets de coopération avec des partenaires des pays du sud. Ils ont été touchés par la situation des personnes vulnérables et particulièrement des enfants des rues. Convaincus de l’importance d’apporter une aide psychosociale à ces jeunes, ils ont décidé en 2009 de mettre en place un projet au Bénin offrant un accueil, une prise en charge et des soins psychosociaux aux enfants et jeunes en danger dans la rue. De 2009 à 2016, les activités de l’antenne béninoise ont été conduites par Terres Rouges Belgique. A partir de 2016, Terres Rouges Belgique a pris les mesures pour que ses équipes et travailleurs basés à Cotonou s’autonomisent et que soit constituée une association Terres Rouges de droit béninois, indépendante et autonome sur le plan financier et programmatique. Nous apportons de l’aide aux enfants et aux jeunes en danger dans la rue à travers plusieurs missions - L’identification et la rencontre des enfants et jeunes dans la rue - L’accueil, la sécurisation et la réponse à leurs besoins de base - L’accompagnement psychosocial, les soins infirmiers et médicaux - L’éducation en santé sexuelle et reproductive - La sensibilisation aux droits fondamentaux des enfants - La scolarisation des enfants et l’alphabétisation des jeunes apprentis - La réinsertion socioprofessionnelle - Le retour en famille et à l’école - La prévention des violences faites aux enfants et aux filles de rue, la protection contre la prostitution - L’éducation des familles dans les communautés.

United Fund For Belgium A.S.B.L V.Z.W
United Fund for Belgium (asbl/vzw) is a Belgian non-profit organization. Its mission is to help people in need in Belgium by financing projects of charity associations in Belgium. UFB's focus is solely on social projects and it finances projects. UFB supports charity associations involved in social integration, child welfare, reduction of poverty & support to handicapped persons. To fund these projects, UFB collects donations from Belgian & foreign companies established in Belgium and from caring individuals. We seek to support close to 80 different charitable associations every year. Our objective is to focus on small to midsize projects that make a difference for the charitable association and the persons they help. UFB's distinguishing characteristics are:* We distribute to the selected charities the full amount (100%) of the donations received for this purpose. This is because we cover our operational costs through special donations, proceeds from events and the income from the endowment fund (the Martin Kallen Fund) that has been created for this purpose. Redistributing 100% of donations is unique in Belgium.* We fund projects for associations in a balanced way in all regions and all provinces of the country.* UFB representatives visit every association before we finance their project to assist the association and ensure that the project is worthy and viable. The members of the Allocation Committee which selects the projects to be financed are all volunteers who have long been active in their local communities and know well the charity fabric of their local areas. UFB also helps donor companies who so wish to choose projects to which they can be associated, for instance by financing them through UFB or by involving actively their employees to support these projects.

Scale Dogs
Scale dogs is a non-profit organization founded in 1990. Our goals are improving the mobility, safety, and independence of people with a visual disability by providing quality guide dogs. Since 2018 Scale Dogs is also training a limited number of assistance dogs for children with autism. Our organisation is an accredited member of the International Guide Dog Federation and Assistance Dogs International/Assistance Dogs Europe, federations which set operational standards that their members must comply with. Scale Dogs does not ask for any financial contribution from the visually impaired or the parents of the children for their dog. We would like this to remain as such in the future. If all those who want to help Scale Dogs show their generosity in one way or another, we hope to be able to train more dogs in order to help more persons with a disability.
