Positive Innovation For The Next Generation Ping
Positive Innovation for the Next Generation (PING) is a youth led organization that implements health or youth related technology projects on the ground along with intensive high school-age and college IT mentorship programs. The organization is based out of Gaborone, Botswana but is starting to expand its projects out of Botswana into other African countries. PING’s goal is to help address health and development problems by simultaneously using technology in an innovative way and creating more problem solvers in the local population. Although over the past decade many African countries have seen huge advances in technology and communications, the full potential of those advances have yet to be reached. In Botswana, a country with one of the highest cell phone densities on the continent (over 140%), some of the highest HIV and TB prevalences in the world and a dramatic shortage of doctors and other healthcare workers, our organization utilizes technology to increase the efficiency of existing interventions and to create innovative solutions for HIV/AIDS and otherhealth issues. To implement these strategies we have formed partnerships with the local Ministry of Health, the largest ISP in Botswana (Mascom) and the largest IT company in the world, Hewlett Packard. PING believes that this process of inclusion of the private sector, the government and a socially active core creates the greatest opportunity for lasting social change.

Mmabontle Circle
We as the Mmabontle Circle are on a mission to challenge and inspire change in, the status quo of the world of work in Botswana, through the gender lens. Focus is key which is why we began with the technology sector however, we have only scratched the surface. The Mmabontle Circle aspires to transform Africa from the inside out, from Botswana to the region. Due to the complexity in the intersectionality of gender, the Mmabontle Circle drives transformation in unconventional ways that impact change directly and indirectly, ultimately moving the needle in closing the gender gap.

The Mongweemang Foundation
The Mongweemang Foundation is an NGO that focuses on giving back to the community and assisting children from less privilege communities. Our main focus being equipping children with entrepreneurial skills so that they can have proper income that can sustain them and revamp the lives of their families. We also advocate for children's rights especially the right to education and the right to health. This is because we are leaving in a generation that is filled with gender based violence and child abuse. We have realized that after covid lockdowns, statistics of child abuse sky rocketed and children need help in many aspects of their lives. The right to access sexual reproductive health and services has been one of the things that children have been denied not only in Botswana but across Africa and beyond. Issues of sexuality among children has been clouded by issues of culture and religion. This is why even to date we have stigmatization and discriminations against homosexuality across the world. The Mongweemang Foundation intends to assist children to have access to all sexual reproductive health service and equip them with the right knowledge and skills through partnering with all relevant stakeholders like Ministry of health and wellness.
