Unity Foundation
Unity Foundation is a Luxembourgish Non Governmental Organization committed to the empowerment of communities through education. All our projects are co-financed by Luxembourg’s Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs (MFEA). We partner up with local development organizations, as we believe this is the best way to ensure sustainability and guarantee long-term impact. In 2018, Unity Foundation signed a 4-year framework agreement with the MFEA of Luxembourg, providing it with the opportunity to carry its vision forward under one single development program entitled:"Education and training for the integrated development of marginalized communities in rural and periurban areas". This means that the Ministry has pledged 2.586.500,00 € (about 76% of the total budget) for our 7 partner organizations. Over the years, the foundation has gained the trust and confidence of many private, public and organizational donors through the nature of the supported projects as well as through its effective and transparent management of donations. One of our operating guidelines is that we don't consider the local people as passive recipients of a development product but our projects safeguard the right of each people to be the protagonists of their own development. Development activity emerges from within a community and belongs to the people ans institutions that are implementing the effort. The Foundation supports educational endeavors in Africa, Latin America and Asia that seek to- Empower communities to take charge of their own educational needs- Foster the moral and intellectual development of the younger generation- Build the capacity of a growing number of community members to contribute to creating a better world- Encourage the generation and application of knowledge in building a peaceful and prosperous society- Promote the role of women in participating equally in the affairs of their community.

Fondation Follereau Luxembourg
La Fondation Follereau est une ONG-D luxembourgeoise engagée pour la promotion de la qualité de vie des communautés africaines les plus vulnérables. Aux côtés de ses partenaires de confiance, elle soutient des initiatives locales, inclusives et positives en réponse aux besoins du terrain en matière de santé, d’éducation, de protection et d’urgence. Depuis 1966, la fondation a, en effet, évolué avec son temps en développant ses activités au-delà de sa lutte initiale contre l’exclusion provoquée par la maladie de la lèpre. Au fil des années, les actions menées se sont ainsi étendues au renforcement des capacités et des infrastructures locales, ainsi qu’à la sensibilisation des populations. Par le biais de ses projets, la fondation œuvre au respect des droits fondamentaux et contribue, dès lors, à la concrétisation des 17 objectifs du développement durable (ODD), fixés par les Nations Unies pour l’Agenda 2030. Elle veille à ce que les projets qu’elle appuie soient initiés par ses partenaires locaux, selon les besoins exprimés par la population. Les projets existent pour et par la communauté, ce qui permet d’en garantir l’impact et la pérennité.

Fondation Jeunes Scientifiques Luxembourg
The Fondation Jeunes Scientifiques Luxembourg (FJSL) is an organisation with public utility that promotes natural and social sciences among young people in Luxembourg and provides a platform where they can exhibit their own scientific projects, participate in cultural exchanges and win prestigious awards. The foundation was first established under the form of an association in 1977 and a separate foundation in 1992 to assure a steady financing of the association’s activities. On a national level, FJSL is closely working with the Service National de la Jeunesse, with the Ministère de l’Education nationale, the Mérite Jeunesse, the University of Luxembourg, the Musée national d’histoire naturelle and many educational institutions (national and international alike). On an international level, FJSL is a founding member of MILSET (Mouvement International pour le Loisir Scientifique et Technique) and its contest is recognised by the UNESCO. As of 2017, FJSl has been awarded the High Patronage of his Royal Highness the Grand-Duc. The FJSL organises each year the national "Jonk Fuerscher" contest, which targets young people who are interested in science and eager to create their own projects. The contest is a great opportunity for the participants to get in contact with the scientific world, meet like-minded people, present their own projects in front of a jury and an audience and win many prestigious prizes. In addition, the FJSL has initiated the Expo-Sciences Luxembourg in 2009. The Expo-Sciences is an international, non-competitive science fair that welcomes young laureates from all over the world. Young scientists get the possibility to present their scientific projects alongside our national participants. The Expo furthers international relationships, the exchange of ideas and cultures and is an excellent opportunity to visit Luxembourg and learn more about the Grand-Duchy.

Padem
Padem is a luxembourgish association that was founded in 2002. Its original goal was to help the poorest children in the world, however, the administrators quickly realized that they could not consistently and sustainably improve the lives of children without improving the ones of their families. It is for this reason that today Padem tends to foster and encourage a holistic approach: You do not fight against child labor without giving their parents a job. PADEM is a non-profit organization specified as NGO and approved by the Ministry of Luxembourg. PADEM is a recognized association of general interest by the French Ministry of Economy and Finance. Médecins Du Monde Luxembourg
Médecins du monde (MdM) est une ONG médicale fondée en 1980, dont la vision est un monde où les obstacles à la santé ont été surmontés, un monde où la santé est reconnue comme un droit fondamental. MdM se distingue par ses actions à la fois locales et lointaines. Présent dans près de 74 pays à l’international, MdM s’appuie sur trois métiers principaux pour mener à bien les projets menés à partir des 15 pays où il y a une association membre de MDM : le médecin, le psychologue et le travailleur social. MdM se donne pour mission de « soigner et témoigner », «Ici et là-bas» en ciblant les populations les plus vulnérables, dans l'urgence et à long terme, tout en travaillant pour l'égalité de l'accès aux soins de santé. Médecins du Monde Luxembourg, ASBL indépendante, existe depuis 2013 et consacre l'essentiel de son activité aux actions locales, ici au Luxembourg. Notre plus-value est une expertise dans le domaine de la santé-précarité et la force d’un réseau où les pratiques s’échangent et se communiquent. Ces atouts nous aident à documenter les besoins et le travail effectué, à témoigner et participer à un changement positif. Une valeur et une force importante de MdM, est celle du travail bénévole. Nous avons pu, à ce jour, recruter plus de 160 bénévoles (médecins, dentistes, infirmières, psychologue,…) qui nous accompagnent dans nos différents projets, de médecine de première ligne, de soins dentaires et support psychologique aux sans droits à Luxembourg ville et à Esch-sur-Alzette où se trouve aussi le siège social.
