Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund
The Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund is the world's largest and longest-running organization fully dedicated to gorilla conservation. No one knows gorillas like we do. Every single day we protect gorilla families, study how they live, and teach future scientists and local communities to do the same. The struggles of wild gorillas seem thousands of miles away from our busy lives, but their fight for survival is really our own. Gorillas are a critical part of the ecosystem known as an “umbrella species.” When we protect them, we also protect the biodiversity in their habitat. The forest where gorillas live is the second-largest we have left - quite literally the lungs of the planet, and one of our best natural defenses against climate change. Gorillas need it to survive, and so do we. onservation does not happen in isolation. We know from our 50+ year history at our Karisoke Research Center in Rwanda that conservation only happens when individuals join with organizations to protect and save vulnerable species so that we can all thrive together! That’s why our holistic model focuses on: Direct Daily Gorilla Protection Scientific Research Educating the Next Generation of Conservationists Helping Communities Become a gorilla game-changer today by visiting gorillafund.org to learn more about our critical work, and ways YOU can help keep the planet's last wild gorillas safe.

Hands Of Mothers
Hands of Mothers (formerly Manos de Madres) is a Memphis-based 501(C)3 nonprofit that works in partnership with the Rwanda NGO, Hands of Mothers Rwanda to empower vulnerable women and youth through education and economic development. Since 2009, Hands of Mothers have provided and/or funded literacy, vocational and entrepreneurship training and microloans to women living with HIV, many as the result of genocidal rape. We currently work with over 135 women, organized into productive Savings and Lending Groups. Recognizing the high and escalating cost of education, required uniforms and supplies, Hands of Mothers began assisting with school fees for the children of these struggling women in 2018. We now provide school fees, mentoring and educational enrichment programs – such as ICT, English and sex education – to over 150 children each year. Our experience has shown that education is the key to creating a more equitable future in rapidly gentrifying Rwanda. Hands of Mothers is committed to helping to generate prosperity, promote health and foster peace in this extraordinary country.

Harambee Youth Employment Accelerator
Harambee Youth Employment Accelerator is a not-for-profit social enterprise that works with partners to find solutions for the challenge of youth unemployment. We work with partners who, like us, are committed to results that can work at scale – include government, the private sector, civil society, and over 4.5 million youth. We are working to unlock jobs and break down the barriers that keep millions of young South Africans unemployed. Our vision is of a growing economy and a society that works, powered by the potential of young people. Harambee is an anchor partner in a breakthrough platform called SA Youth which brings together many partners to create a single national network to allow young people to access a wide selection of jobs and skilling opportunities and for opportunity holders to access young engaged work-seekers – for free! Vulnerable Children Need Care
VCNC, or Vulnerable Children Need Care, was founded by Mr. Gilbert Niyomuhoza in 2019. Initially focused on a small area in Kimironko/Kwa Mushimire, the organization provided support to young vulnerable children facing challenges like addiction to drug abuse, lack of education, and basic needs. Gilbert, taking a hands-on approach, initiated efforts such as playing the guitar for kids for emotional assistance, visiting families of these kids to understand their needs and support them, and celebrating Christmas with them to create some joyful moments with them. The impact of COVID-19 in 2020 heightened the need, prompting Gilbert to launch fundraisings and establish a Whatsapp group for collaboration. VCNC now directs its efforts towards supporting vulnerable children, emphasizing investments currently in their educational needs with a hope to meet other basic needs in the future. Join us in making a difference for children in need.
