Surf Life Saving Foundation
The role of Surf Life Saving in the community is acknowledged by a vast majority of Australians - but we are much more than the red and yellow flags and volunteer beach patrols. Surf Life Saving delivers a wide array of community benefits including healthy lifestyle, leadership, mateship, volunteerism and a sense of belonging. Surf Clubs have become local community hubs right around Australia. Literally millions of Australians and overseas tourists directly interact with Surf Life Saving each year by using our charitable services - some realise this and some don't. Many do not give a second thought as to who sets up the red and yellow flags - the service is simply expected and as much a part of the Australian landscape as the beaches themselves. It is fair to say that most people know we are a worthy organisation and they can rely on the services we provide however very few truly understand that we are charity and are very much in need of public support. The role of the Surf Life Saving Foundation is to ensure the financial security and viability of the Surf Life Saving movement. There are a myriad of ways that individuals and organisations alike can support Surf Life Saving - from our Guardians of the Surf program, Workplace Giving, Legacy gifting, Corporate partnerships and Fundraising Events through to our House Lotteries and Trade promotions. Radiology Across Borders
Radiology Across Borders is an Australian charity that saves lives, every single day. We do this by focussing on education. Sharing knowledge that developing nation doctors simply don't have access to, and the results are startling. Lives are saved not when we visit, but every day thereafter, and as the knowledge is passed on it has an exponential affect - because when you have the ability to save a life, you have the responsibility to do so. EDUCATION - SAVES LIVES We teach radiology techniques to developing nation doctors, increasing survival rates from a number of easily treatable injuries, diseases & illnesses. EQUIPMENT - ENABLES EDUCATION We donate computers to overseas health centres, allowing doctors to learn life-saving techniques through our seminars, and we provide modern imaging equipment, when funding permits, enabling previously impossible assessment of injury & disease. PARTNERSHIPS - EXTEND OUR REACH We partner with specialist organisations to extend our reach, saving more lives, in more locations, more often. AND WE NEED HELP TO CONTINUE People are dying of easily preventable diseases, right now, only a few hours from us here in Sydney- It's like having the cure for cancer, and not being able to use it. So please help. Please get in touch. Every dollar helps. To donate, or find out about corporate sponsorship opportunities, click below: More details:

Communities For Communities
We are about bringing communities together. With the support of our friends in Sydney, we've hosted more than 100 community events and raised more than AU$2m. This has built houses, schools, and community facilities in disadvantaged communities overseas in Thailand, the Philippines, South Vietnam, Indonesia and now a project in Fiji. Additionally, we have been able to fund paediatric physiotherapy hours, a play ground and now a hydrotherapy facility in Lucas Gardens School in Five Dock. Our Four Pillars • We build, experience and celebrate our community. • We reach out and help other communities to meet their needs. • We raise awareness and understanding of the needs of others. • We challenge and encourage other communities to set up their own Communities for Communities model."The proceeds of our work go beyond our community but the benefit stays here"- Lance Brooks, Founder.

Established in as a partnership between the Australian Government and the Sidney Myer Fund, to date we’ve awarded more than $213 million in grants to more than projects. It’s more than money. Our funding and capacity building support is delivered at the hyper-local level. The Good Life Farm
The Good Life Farm has a simple purpose: to help children and teenagers who’ve fallen through the gaps and never been given a chance in life. Since 2005, The Good Life Farm has provided animal-based therapy and educational programs to at-risk young people aged between 12 and 17. The Farm provides a safe, supportive and therapeutic environment where our young people can build their self-esteem, social skills, trust and confidence, while learning vocational skills that will help them with their employment prospects. Our 'grassroots' healing program is the only one of its kind in Australia. We work with an internationally-recognised therapeutic model on a sustainable farm with a variety of animals. We play an important role in the lives of the young people who come to us. As we watch them grow, develop and flourish, we see them discover their inner-child for the first time - and that is a truly wonderful thing.

Hanworth House
Hanworth House is an Award-Winning Heritage Listed Home offering Accommodation and Venue Space for Special Events. Our Mission is to raise per year to benefit local charities whilst connecting like-minded women and men in the spirit of the Heart of Hanworth. With a rich history of bringing together entrepreneurial minds and supporting causes that span from women and children to cancer research, Hanworth is a Brisbane Icon that gives back to its community through its philanthropic endeavours. One of the oldest homes ever built in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, the original owner was Captain George Poynter Heath, the first Portmaster of Brisbane who was responsible for charting parts of the Great Barrier Reef and established many of the lighthouses across the Queensland Coast. Captain Heath, his wife and nine children originated from Hanworth, Norfolk, England hence the namesake. The first brick was laid in 1864 and this majestic home has hosted numerous high society parties. Mary Wienholt purchased the home in 1912 in dedication of her mother Ann Powell who passed away and for the next 80+ years repurposed Hanworth as a Hospice for the Aged for impecunious gentlewomen. Hanworth was gifted to the Theosophical Society and then the Anglican Church. Almost 100 years after Mary Wienholt, in similar fashion, Marisa Vecchio and her family purchased Hanworth in honour of Marisa's mother, Romana Preston. The home was found in a dilapidated state and after renovations were complete, mere weeks from opening as accommodation to the public, the house was tragically set on fire by an arsonist. Sadly, 80% of the home was damaged and extensive restoration took place once more. Hanworth is now lovingly restored and like a phoenix rising from the ashes, she shines brighter than ever. Some of you may have seen the Happy Tree light up the path for the commuters along Lytton Rd at nightfall. We hope to welcome you to Hanworth House soon!
