We are a Swiss-based organisation with a highly experienced global team specialising in investing and developing solutions to address gender-based issues. Be it innovating and delivering our own programmes or supporting social changemakers and movements, we aim to boldly disrupt the status quo and promote meaningful change to advance the rights of women across the world. Our vision for a gender-equal and just world has directed our focus towards preventing violence against women and girls, promoting the development of grassroots organisations, supporting girls’ education, leveraging media for gender equality and, most recently, unlocking women’s access to land rights. We have found these to be critical challenges faced in low-income communities in the Global South and we work extensively to strengthen high-impact on-ground projects to catalyse change. Since 2015, we have partnered with philanthropists and investors to channel over $16 million into high-impact programmes across Afghanistan, Brazil, Cape Verde, India, Mexico, South Africa, and the Middle East and North Africa. Our strategic support has helped these programmes reach more than 26 million people — most of them women and girls.

Ehlsmile - Association

EHLsmile is a non-profit organization founded in 1996 by a group of EHL students. We co-create and revamp hospitality vocational training centers to fight against poverty and encourage sustainable tourism development together with other NGOs. At EHLsmile, we believe in the power of collaboration and diverse perspectives to drive positive change. Our organization is led by a dynamic and dedicated team comprising a board and a student committee. This unique governance structure allows us to harness the wisdom of experienced leaders and the fresh insights of passionate young minds.

Fit4future Foundation

Die fit4future foundation Schweiz setzt – ohne Reibungsverluste und Umwege – dort an, wo Engagement sinnvoll und notwendig ist. Im Zentrum der Stiftungsaktivitäten stehen Kinder und deren gesunde Entwicklung im Hauptprojekt «fit4future». In Kooperation mit zahlreichen Fachpartnern werden Projekte entwickelt. Bei verschiedenen Programmen zu mehr Bewegung, ausgewogener Ernährung und psychischer Gesundheit nehmen schweizweit knapp Kids teil. Ob in Schulküchen, Turnhallen, Klassenzimmern, auf Sportplätzen, Skipisten oder Pausenplätzen: In über 350 Veranstaltungen pro Jahr werden spielerisch Impulse für einen aktiven und nachhaltig gesunden Lebensstil gesetzt. Lehrpersonen erhalten zudem pfannenfertige Unterlagen und wertvolle Unterstützung zur motivierenden Umsetzung von Gesundheitsförderung im Unterricht. Und auch die Eltern werden einbezogen: Mit Tipps und Tricks für den Alltag Zuhause unterstützen wir Mütter, Väter und Bezugspersonen.

Croix-Rouge Jurassienne

La Croix-Rouge jurassienne fait partie du plus vaste réseau humanitaire de volontaires au monde. Association locale, elle soutient les personnes vulnérables du canton du Jura, sans discrimination aucune. Elle contribue ainsi à plus de paix et d’humanité pour les habitants du Canton du Jura. Familles en situation précaire, personnes âgées souffrant de solitude : leur détresse n’est pas toujours visible; elle est pourtant bien réelle. C’est au quotidien que la Croix-Rouge jurassienne leur apporte une aide concrète. Elle leur permet de passer une période difficile, de mieux s’intégrer dans la société, de ne pas rester seules.

Vision We provide vulnerable children and youths in Nepal a safe, familial home and good education for them to build a self-reliant and dignified life. Mission We focus our efforts in Nepal on vulnerable children and youths by creating a local, loving and enabling home environment. By supporting capability-based education, children and youths are enabled to build a self-reliant life Activities Prabina Foundation currently provides a safe home, access to quality education, and health and well-being to over 80 Nepali children and youths in order to enable them to build a self-reliant and dignified life. The Prabina Foundation is able to carry out the following core activities through the support of sponsor parents, individual donations and grants: A safe home Access to quality education Transition support to self-reliance Health and well-being We are a loving, large family made up of Nepali children and youths and sponsor parents and donors from Europe. Our sponsor parents are in regular, personal contact and exchange with their respective child or youth as we believe that this form of direct sponsorship and care is integral to building trusting, long-term relationships. We enable while respecting the local context and culture, and nurture the entire education and well-being of vulnerable children and youths to help ensure they receive 360 degree care. This holistic approach translates into support for the individual, capability-based needs of each Prabina student. Our enabling approach aims to ensure that each student is accompanied through their entire education until they are self-reliant and able to live on their own with dignity. After completing their sponsorship they usually lead a self-reliant life, have built something for themselves and keep telling the story of how being a member of our big Prabina family has changed their life for good in a sustainable way.

Swiss Diabetes Kids

Unsere Mission ist, das Leben für Kinder und Jugendliche mit Diabetes Typ 1 zu verbessern. Wir vernetzen Familien, die Kinder und Jugendliche mit Diabetes Typ 1 haben, indem wir Events organisieren. Psychosoziale Betreuung, vor allem nach der Diagnose, ist sehr wichtig für die Eltern. Unser Vorstand steht gerne für einen telefonischen Austausch zur Verfügung. Indem wir Fachvorträge zu Spezialthemen organisieren, leisten wir Aufklärungsarbeit. Wir versuchen bei der Themensuche, diverse Entwicklungsstufen der Kinder zu berücksichtigen und darauf einzugehen. Unsere Zusammenarbeit mit "diabetesschweiz" hilft uns, mehr Gewicht dem Thema Typ 1 Diabetes im Alltag zu geben, uns auch politisch zu engagieren.
