Galila - For A Better Future Foundation
The Galila Foundation was established in 2005 as a grass-roots organization, founded and supported by a group of local residents and volunteers. Our mission is to promote, support and develop the quality of life in the peripheral northern region of Israel, for the primary benefit of the most challenged populations. We are a small and motivated non-profit organization, performing our mission in partnership with those that believe in the same goals and values. Galila supports all communities in the northern Galilee and we respect the different ethnic and cultural characteristics of all populations. We believe that by strengthening the Galilee and the northern region we strengthen the State of Israel. We recognize that each program that we support or initiate will have high-impact and a positive follow-on effect on that community. In order to be effective change-agents, we need to empower and support the people that can make it all happened.
