The Institute of Economic Affairs, Ghana (IEA) is Ghana’s premier Public Policy Institute. Established in 1989 by a young Ghanaian economist, Dr. Charles Mensa, the IEA was set up with the aim of broadening the debate on public policy, engendering private sector led economic growth, and strengthening the pillars of democracy. Our work is informed by our vision – an economically viable and democratic Ghana in which the rule of law prevails, the institutions of democracy are respected, and the rights and freedoms of the citizens are protected. Youth Alliance For Green Ghana Yagg
Youth Alliance for Green Ghana (Y.A.G.G) is a nonprofit alliance of young sustainability & grassroots development activists committed to securing a Green Ghana for the present & future generations. Established in 2018 as a youth-led and youth-focused alliance, we mobilize, train and build the capacities of young people from diverse local communities and educational institutions to actively participate in local and national sustainable development activism. So far, we have trained, engaged and worked with over 1500 youth in Ghana and across the African continent. Based on our commitment to Intergenerational Solidarity, Inclusiveness and Diversity in our work, we partner and work with other private and public sector organizations and institutions in our work. Our decentralized organizational structure allows for both community and institutional membership. Join us, in building a green and sustainable Ghana for now and posterity.

Afrinype Headquarters
African Network of Youth Policy Experts (AFRINYPE) is the regional network that federates expertise on Youth Policies. Established in 2014 and duly registered with membership in 40 African countries, the network focuses on policy issues as they concern young people especially. The main objective of AFRINYPE is to influence policy pronouncements and implementations among State actors on the continent, and this is achieved by persuading Africa’s UN Member States to renew their commitments regarding implementation of youth policies. The network also facilitates knowledge development and engages in research on youth related policy matters by creating policy briefs and fact sheets on youth policy situations across Africa. AFRINYPE has completed youth policy review in 40 African countries, among other achievements.
