Being one of the most active societies in HKU, PPAA's mission is to advance the public interest through changing political apathy into awareness, motivating people to critically rethink about what they can do as citizens in local and international systems of governance, and training high caliber leaders who are concerned with serving society uncompromisingly. Founded in 1973 as Hong Kong's first student-led society focused on the study of global and public affairs, Politics and Public Administration Association HKUSU (PPAA,) has emerged into one of the most successful of its kind in the region. Today, having strong links with the community and serving as the official student representative body of the HKU Department of Politics and Public Administration, PPAA promotes the free exchange of diverse ideas regarding compelling issues ranging from transnational terrorism and nuclear proliferation to entrenched poverty, Cross-Strait relations, political reforms in Hong Kong and China, and many more. Every year, PPAA organizes a huge variety of current public affairs forums, panels, exhibitions, debates, and social activities for its Members, HKU students and alumni, and the general public.

Good City Foundation (GCF) is a regional multilateral development organization founded in 2016 and headquartered in Hong Kong SAR, China. The Foundation sets forth a progressive image for the future development of Asia in the context of global relations. More specifically, the Foundation provides a bold re-imagination of Hong Kong’s role and relevance in the region – aiming to become a key connector of new generation leaders from public and private sectors in emerging cities, support them to mobilize partnerships and resources for real-world projects. The Foundation is firmly based with central connectivity of heart in Hong Kong. A bottom-up, youth-led approach is adopted since its establishment to proactively drive new agendas and important projects for the acceleration and innovation of socioeconomic development in Asia and strategic engagement in China. Such design re-unites young leaders and stakeholders across sectors in China and Hong Kong SAR, which is conducive to fostering a more harmonious and entrepreneurial spirit in public-private cooperation. Each year, the Foundation organizes dual-city (Hong Kong SAR plus one city in China) Summit-Tourism experience, namely Future City Summit, inviting over 200 delegates and guests from more than 15 different countries. The Foundation has received prominent, world-renowned guests such as Prof. Muhammad Yunus, Founder of Grameen Bank and Nobel Peace Prize Laureate 2006 and Dr. Monica Ebele Idinoba, Principal Scientific Officer of African Union along with other influential partners such as Asian Development Bank, Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of Kingdom of Cambodia and Urban Development Authority of Sri Lanka.

The Hong Kong Association Of The Pharmaceutical Industry
Formed in 1968, The Hong Kong Association of the Pharmaceutical Industry (HKAPI) has 32 full members and 4 affiliate members, including the world's top 20 companies engaged in the research and development of pharmaceuticals. Our member companies provide over 70 per cent of the prescription medicines in Hong Kong. Updating members with important information in the local pharmaceutical market, the Association aims to improve the overall well-being of Hong Kong people by making recommendations on healthcare policies, as well as the relationship among our member companies, the government and the community. The Association has actively participated in the events of the local health community and regularly presented its views to the public on different healthcare issues such as Voluntary Health Insurance Scheme, Pharmacy and Poisons (Amendment) Ordinance 2015 and various pharmaceutical regulations.
