Casa Tamarindo

Casa Tamarindo is a multidisciplinary research and design studio that explores the future of architecture, art, and biomaterials through experimentation with waste, nature, and advanced technologies. Our practice bridges traditional craft with computational design, resulting in built work and prototypes that challenge the boundaries between the organic and the synthetic, the ancient and the emerging. We work across scales—from installations and pavilions to full-scale buildings and material systems—focusing on how local resources, environmental intelligence, and cultural narratives can shape new vernaculars. Our projects investigate topics like regenerative construction, biodesign, circular economies, and ecological aesthetics, always guided by a commitment to experimentation and place-based innovation. Casa Tamarindo has exhibited internationally, and our work spans collaborations with institutions, brands, and communities to reimagine how we build and live. Whether it's creating biomaterials from beer waste, developing digital fabrication techniques rooted in natural processes, or prototyping new forms of shelter and ritual, we aim to spark dialogues between design, ecology, and the public realm. We believe that architecture is not just about form or function—it’s about transforming systems, rethinking matter, and building futures that are more alive, inclusive, and attuned to the intelligence of the earth.

Colectivo De Diseño Disruptivo

We're the Disruptive Design Collective, composed by people convinced that the change starts from when our actions are designed. We work with topics such as human-centered design, systems thinking, social innovation, gamification, behavior, intrapreneurship, lean startup, co-creation, dialogue and corporate social responsibility in our interventions. We facilitate creative events, run specialized tranings and customize institutional programs. And above all, we learn from each others, collaborate for new initiatives and encourage ourselves to work on the edge of our comfort zones. Somos un Colectivo de Diseño Disruptivo, conformado por personas convencidas de que el cambio empieza por el diseño de nuestras acciones. Incorporamos temas como diseño centrado en las personas, pensamiento sistémico, innovación social, gamificación, comportamiento, intra-emprendimiento, lean startup, co-creación y diálogo como fundamentos de nuestras intervenciones. Facilitamos eventos creativos, impartimos capacitaciones especializadas y personalizamos programas para instituciones. Pero, sobretodo, aprendemos unos de los otros, colaboramos para nuevas iniciativas y nos estimulamos a trabajar en las fronteras de nuestras zonas de confort.
