Eco-Energy is a data-driven social and environmental enterprise that expands access to clean, safe and affordable solar energy products and power solutions to un-served and underserved communities in Liberia. In Liberia, less than 15% of the population has access to electricity and over 2 million rely on kerosene (paraffin) and other harmful fuels. It is women who shoulder the burden and harmful effects of energy poverty. We believe that rural women are part of the solution to creating a modern and eco-friendly economy. We recruit women in rural and off-grid communities, train them as Solar Entrepreneurs (SEP) and empower them to distribute our Eco-brand at the last mile.
