Renewable Energy Association Of Sierra Leone Reasl
The Renewable Energy Association of Sierra Leone (REASL) is an independent trade association dedicated to advancing the growth of a robust and efficient renewable energy market in Sierra Leone. Established in 2016 in direct response to the Energy Africa Compact, a UK aid initiative aimed at accelerating energy access through market-based approaches, REASL operates as an association limited by guarantee, registered under the Sierra Leone Companies Act No 5 of 2009. One of REASL's primary functions is championing the interests of its members in the renewable energy sector by engaging with key stakeholders such as the government, consumers, the public sector, and other relevant groups through advocacy, lobbying, and marketing efforts. Additionally, REASL is a central hub for disseminating information on local and global issues, policies, new technologies, and business models within the renewable energy sector. With a vision to become the preeminent renewable energy organization, driving comprehensive energy access in Sierra Leone.
