Our company aim to provide access to electricity for more than 2704 households and 200 medium and small business living in rural areas of both Gakenke and Nyabihu Districts of Rwanda. Therefore, this will result in a contribution of carbon emission reduction of 5,194 tons. Currently, we developing two mini-hydropower projects which are Bukeri 4.5MW and Kiruruma 832KW. However, in future, we want to roll out gas distribution, water collection, and Plumbing services to our ideal clients. Although the projects have a good impact on society. However, we are still challenged by gaining the funds. That is why we are very interested to look forward to working with someone that can help in this process. Waste Enterprisers Holding is the U.S. parent of Pivot Works Ltd, a start-up waste-to-energy company that converts human waste into solid fuel for cement plants and other industries. Revenue generated from the sale of fuel is used to cover the treatment and conversion costs of the waste – meaning we’ve devised a sanitation system that actually pays for itself. Our mission is to eliminate dumping of human waste, and the public health and environmental threats that go with it. We recently commissioned a Pivot Works plant in Kigali, Rwanda and are developing a pipeline of opportunities across East Africa, India, and Latin America.
