Crrc-Armenia
CRRC-Armenia is a regionally focused and Armenia-based independent, non-partisan research institution, where research lives. Established in 2003 as part of the CRRC regional network operating in the South Caucasus, CRRC-Armenia core mandate is to address national and regional socio-economic and political challenges via high-quality data collection, analysis, and enhancement of the scientific capacity of the research community. We are recognized nationally and internationally as a leading force in social science research and to influence policy making agenda in the country by setting the highest international standards in research and building a vibrant community of social scientists. On top of multi-method data collection and analysis, CRRC-Armenia also serves as a resource center, with open and freely available data, dozens of scientific papers, research reports, and policy briefs. Since its establishment, researchers engaged with CRRC-Armenia have been benefiting from the Foundation’s methodological trainings, local and international conferences, summer schools, and a library with more than contemporary publications in social sciences and humanities. With this, we strive to achieve excellence in social science research, promoting data and knowledge-based principles of democratic governance in Armenia (and beyond), applying advanced methodologies towards conducting high-quality research, and expanding the culture of transparent data gathering and peer-to-peer learning.

International And Comparative Law Center
International and Comparative Law Center is a Non-Governmental Organization (hereinafter - ICLaw), which was founded in September 2010 by a group of young legal-scholars, who, prior to the establishment of ICLaw were extensively involved in academic activities, thus ripening of the idea and the establishment of the ICLaw. PROFILE Nuclear and Radiation Safety Center (NRSC) is a technical and scientific research company which provides expertise in the field of nuclear and radiation safety, and security of nuclear facilities. The company manages interdisciplinary knowledge, progressive methods and qualified data. NRSC was established as a closed joint-stock company in 2001. There are approximately 35 employees at NRSC. NRSC is financed by contracts only. Customers of NRSC NRSC’s main customer is the Armenian Nuclear Regulatory Authority. Furthermore, NRSC works on contracts with the various local and foreign companies and organizations. More information is presented on web site. Shareholders and Administrative Bodies NRSC stocks are owned by the Government of the Republic of Armenia. Specialization NRSC is constantly increasing its expertise level and expanding its activity scope. NRSC uses the most up-to-date methods and approaches, the best available tools and verified techniques in its activities, hence increasing the quality of the work performed and the service provided. This makes NRSC the leader in the local market and the most reliable partner for the international organizations in Armenia in the field of nuclear and radiation safety. PhotonicsAI Lab at the Institute of Physics of Yerevan State University develops both theoretical, experimental approaches as well as state-of-the-art computing algorithms to address basic and applied research problems. Our fundamental research interests focus on the light-matter interaction in complex photonic systems. In particular, our prime interest is to reveal the full spatiotemporal interaction potential of structured light field and liquid crystal. The latter can find its direct implementation towards the realization of scalable and power efficient optical computing architectures that are capable of tackling many large-scale complex problems. Namely, one of the applied research directions in our lab is combining such state-of-the-art optical computing technologies with optical imaging systems to achieve unprecedented imaging performance through complex turbid media. Among its long-term objectives in science YSMU strives to establish a Brain Research Excellence Center for studying the prevention of chronic brain disorders (e.g, neurodegenerative disease, dementia, Alzheimer, autism etc.) and maintaining healthy ageing of the brain throughout lifespan. The aim is to create a multinational research and development resource for collaborative work on: discovery, translation, testing-validating and developing novel therapies for chronic brain disorders. The ultimate public health goal of the YSMU enterprise is to discover, develop and validate a wide-range of interventions to prevent or delay, thus reduce the prevalence of chronic brain disorders not only in Armenia but also nearby countries. Sub-objective 1: Establishment of neuroscience research structure and policy for building new mechanisms of effective management of university research infrastructure in general and brain research excellence center in particular. Sub-objective 2: Investment in early stage researchers through upgrading their research skills in animal modelling, animal phenotyping, stem cell research, compound testing as well as developing researchers’ soft skills. Sub-objective 3: Broadening research career opportunities for faculty and early stage researchers through establishing advanced training programs and funding scheme for permanent research. Sub-objective 4: Setting up an office of technology transfer and encouraging entrepreneurial activities by academic and research staff members. It will be responsible for developing and implementing policies, procedures and best practices in business management of YSMU research infrastructure as well as the operation of BREC. Sub-objective 5: Increasing the visibility of the University and BREC with new research capacities in the international scientific community, medical/pharmaceutical industry, global knowledge economy as well as the public.

Incorporated in 2006, ARISC currently has representatives in Baku, Tbilisi, and Yerevan, who serve to facilitate research and nurture scholarly ties between institutions and individuals. Back in November 2020, an idea was initiated by a group of Armenian instructors from all over the world to create an independent educational platform for the enhancement and development of education in Armenia. For these hard times, we find it crucial to educate our young generation and have our small contribution to the development of our country. The Armenian Independent University (AIU) online platform is a unique, non-profit academic institution created to prepare students for a research career, both theoretical and applied. Our goal is to help Armenian students to enhance their knowledge in the fields of Economics, Data Science, Computer Science and to acquire Research Skills.
