Formado por pesquisadores com longa vivência acadêmica e executiva em mercado, o ENGIN se impôs a missão de ser um canal de comunicação construtiva entre Universidade e Organizações Públicas e Privadas para viabilizar a aproximação entre teoria e prática e, consequentemente, a transformação de conhecimentos científicos em inovação para a sociedade. The Laboratory of Public Policy and Internet (LAPIN) is a pioneer nonprofit think tank dedicated to digital policy based in the Brazilian capital of Brasília. Researchers, lawyers, engineers and representatives from both the public and the private sectors contribute to LAPIN’s goal of analyzing and supporting the development of public policies focused on the regulation of digital technologies. The Latin American Cooperative Oncology Group (LACOG) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to cancer research. This is the first multinational cooperative group in Latin America exclusively dedicated to clinical and translational research in cancer. The group has more than 400 investigators members from 200 institutions from Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Cuba, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, México, Nicaragua, Panama, Peru, Venezuela and Uruguay. The LACOG Coordinating Office, located in Porto Alegre, Brazil, has the facilities to assist investigators with their study concept, protocol development and management, monitoring, data management, pharmacovigilance and statistical analysis. The group also develops educational courses and events about clinical research.

O LinseLab - Laboratório de Estudos e Pesquisas sobre Inovação & Marketing em Serviços - foi formado em 2009 com o objetivo de estimular e desenvolver estudos, discussões e projetos voltados ao aprofundamento do conhecimento sobre a Inovação em Serviços, o Marketing de Serviços e todas as temáticas que derivam desses dois eixos. Os esforços de pesquisa dos membros do grupo estão voltados às seguintes linhas: a Gestão da Inovação (considerando-se, por exemplos, os conceitos de Capacidade Absortiva e de Capacidade de Inovação), a Cocriação de valor e a Coprodução de Serviços Públicos e Privados, Difusão de Tecnologias e Inovações e os estudos em Serviços (Marketing e Inovação). O grupo tem uma estrutura fluida, visto que alunos de graduação do Departamento de Administração da FACE/UNIVERSIDADE DE BRASÍLIA (UnB) e de pós-graduação (mestrado e doutorado) do PROGRAMA DE PÓS-GRADUAÇÃO EM ADMINISTRAÇÃO (PPGA) da UnB transitam pelo grupo desenvolvendo trabalhos de pesquisa e de produção acadêmica. No geral, o grupo sempre agrega um contingente de pessoal de cerca de 20 pesquisadores, entre docentes e discentes, sendo a professora Josivania Silva Farias a líder do grupo. O LinseLab existe porque seus membros acreditam que a Inovação e o Marketing de Serviços, sejam estes públicos ou privados, não podem se afastar das discussões e estudos sobre a colaboração, a coprodução e a cocriação de valor. É a interação entre provedores e usuários de serviços o que promove o valor dessas relações e ressignifica os serviços podendo levá-los a patamares inovadores e transformadores.

Litc Computational Intelligence Laboratory
The LITC, created in 1996 in the Department of Electronic Engineering at the UFMG School of Engineering, is one of the pioneer laboratories in Brazil in the field of Artificial Neural Networks. Over its decades of existence, LITC has trained hundreds of undergraduate and graduate students and contributed significantly to the development of human resources in the area. LITC's field of activity is quite broad, ranging from the fundamentals of machine learning, statistical learning, recurrent models, kernel machines, and language models (LLMs), among others, to applications in various sectors such as steel industry, mining, energy, and the automotive industry. O LTRANSP é um laboratório destinado ao estudo de transitórios eletromagnéticos e de proteção de sistemas elétricos de potência. Welcome to Subsea Technology Laboratory (LTS - Laboratório de Tecnologia Submarina)! We are part of the Ocean Engineering Program - PEnO which is one of the thirteen programs of the Coordination of Graduate Engineering Projects - COPPE located at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro - UFRJ. COPPE / UFRJ is one of the research institutions accredited by the Brazilian National Agency of Petroleum (ANP) according to Investment Clauses in Research, Development and Technological Innovation (ANP Resolution No. 50/2015, Technical Regulation ANP No. 3/2015) and the Brazilian Industrial Research and Innovation Company (EMBRAPII). In almost 30 years of activities, the LTS has already completed twenty-two undergraduate projects, sixty-five master's dissertations and fifteen doctoral theses. He has published more than one hundred articles and works in national and international congresses and magazines and has developed around two hundred and seventy technical consulting reports. It has also been conducting R&D projects eligible to ANP levy. Research lines: • Offshore pipelines alternative conceptions such as Sandwich and composite pipes. • Submarines, ships and floating platforms • Drilling wells • Completion and instrumentation of onshore and offshore wells • Intelligent systems based on materials with shape memory • Wave energy Infrastructure • Physical infrastructure The laboratory, considered the most modern in Latin America, is installed in an area of approximately one thousand seven hundred square meters in the Complex of Teaching and Research Engineering, Block Technology Center, Ilha do Fundão. Marine And Energy-Applied Geology And Geophysics Laboratory
The Marine and Energy-applied Geology and Geophysics Lab (LGMA) consists of a team of researchers who develop research dedicated to the study of Earth sciences, with a specific focus on applying this knowledge to mapping the seabed, the exploration and sustainable use of mineral, water and energy resources, mainly oil and renewable energies (offshore wind), and for climate change mitigation (CO2 storage). We generate science and develop qualified human resources to work in the oil and gas industry (exploration and production), renewable energy and to the management, monitoring and conservation of the environment!
