We are a reliable, self-sustaining computational chemistry company. We offer our software and expertise to both smaller biotech companies and big pharma, either as a CRO or as licensed software, for use in the preclinical stages of drug discovery. Are you a biotech kicking off a new project, looking for rational computer-aided drug design (CADD) to accelerate your hit discovery? We use our own software tools and a structure-based approach to identify novel small molecules targeting any protein family. Do you need diverse comp. chem. expertise, but only employ a small in-house team, or no team at all? When you hire us as a CRO, we source our entire team’s experience in areas including structure-based design, chemoinformatics, quantum mechanics, and molecular dynamics. Do you struggle with third-party software, hidden license requirements, and missing features? We develop our own software for most applications, precluding the need to sign other agreements or to procure other tools. We can also adjust and enhance our procedures to accommodate different project workflows. Our software works on PC, Linux, and Mac and we will run demos and workshops. Are you looking for a long-term partner with flexibility in how you collaborate? We construct our agreements on FFS or FTE bases and generally do not retain IP on your projects. We conduct feasibility studies before spending time and money on projects that are unlikely to be successful. We will provide reports, communicate regularly, and return any generated data. Montreal Behavioural Medicine Centre Mbmc
The MBMC conducts research in the areas of behavioural medicine and psychophysiology, with an emphasis on behavioural trials and epidemiology, to contribute new knowledge about the impact of psychological and behavioural factors in the development and progression of chronic disease. As such, the type of clinical research conducted at the MBMC generally falls into three broad categories: 1. Behavioural epidemiological cohort studies These studies examine the impact of psychological (e.g, stress, anxiety, depression), social (e.g, sex, gender, socioeconomic status), and behavioural (e.g, smoking, diet, physical activity) factors on the development and progression of chronic disease; 2. Laboratory experimental studies These studies examine the psychophysiological mechanisms linking psychological and behavioural factors to disease; 3. Intervention studies These studies test the efficacy and effectiveness of behavioural medicine interventions on the primary and secondary prevention of chronic disease.

Ontario Health Study
The Ontario Health Study is a population-based study and active research platform investigating risk factors that cause diseases like cancer, diabetes, heart disease, asthma and Alzheimer’s. More than Ontario adults volunteered to be research participants, answering an online health-related questionnaire, and consenting to receiving subsequent surveys to follow their health as they age. A subset of participants also provided physical measurements and biological samples blood samples and 12,600 urine samples). Researchers are using this long-term study to investigate how our lifestyle, environment and family history affect our health over time and to explore strategies for the prevention, early detection and treatment of diseases. The nonprofit Study is funded by the Ontario Institute for Cancer Research, Cancer Care Ontario, Public Health Ontario and the Canadian Partnership Against Cancer The Ontario Health Study is the largest of seven study cohorts taking part in Canada’s largest health research platform, the Canadian Partnership for Tomorrow's Health (CanPath).
