Baryon
Scientific output is accelerating at an unprecedented rate, yet the tools researchers use to navigate it are stuck in the past. At Baryon, we believe keeping up with the frontier of human knowledge shouldn't require a fragmented workflow of newsletters, social media, and manual searches. Baryon is the intelligence layer for scientific discovery. We filter the noise of daily preprints to surface the signal—the high-impact, relevant research that actually drives your work forward. Starting with a laser focus on Astrophysics and Cosmology, we are building the unified hub for the modern researcher. No more doom-scrolling arXiv. No more missing breakthrough papers. Just the science that matters, delivered in real-time. Stay at the frontier.

Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg
The Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg was founded in 1973 making it one of Germany‘s young universities. Its goal is to find answers to the major challenges society faces in the 21st century – through interdisciplinary cuttingedge research. The pathways on the Oldenburg campus are short: the University‘s academic staff and administrative staff work closely together using an interdisciplinary approach. Many are integrated into special research areas research groups and European clusters of excellence. The University cooperates closely with more than 200 other universities worldwide and is also affiliated with non-university institutes in the areas of research education culture and business. The University of Oldenburg is preparing over 15 000 students for professional life. It offers a broad range of disciplines from language studies cultural studies and the humanities to educational sciences art and musicology the economic and social sciences mathematics computer science the natural sciences and the new medicine and health science programmes established in 2012.

Chair Of Computational Applied Mechanics
In our research, we use numerical models to describe the mechanical behavior of materials and structures in various engineering applications. The aim is always to optimize the material and structural compositions in the design in such a way that properties can be improved and resources conserved. This applies in particular to composite materials and composite structures, which are increasingly used in many technically relevant applications in civil engineering, mechanical engineering and aerospace technology. These are characterized by improved mechanical or thermal properties compared to the individual constituents. Composite materials and composite structures are increasingly used in lightweight construction, for example, because they have a high load-bearing capacity with low density - and thus low weight - which makes sustainable resource-saving construction methods possible. For some time now, we have also been focusing our research on renewable raw materials such as paper and cardboard, which can also be regarded as composites of fibers or fiber networks and pores. The challenge in modeling composites is that the macroscopic material behavior at the structural level is significantly influenced by the properties of the individual constituents as well as the topology and geometry of the microstructure. In order to be able to take this influence of the microstructure into account, we pursue multi-scale approaches based on numerical homogenization methods.

Composite Circularity Lab Ccl
The Composite Circularity Lab (CCL) is a research group at HTWK Leipzig that explores how a circular economy for fibre-reinforced plastics can be put into practice. Our mission is to develop scientific concepts that go beyond theory and can be applied in real-world settings. We combine scientific research with practical solutions — including the development of prototypes and collaborative projects with industry partners. The CCL is part of the Faculty of Engineering at HTWK Leipzig and, together with the Advanced Materials and Structures Lab (AMSL), belongs to the Chair of Lightweight Structures with Composite Materials, headed by Prof. Dr-Ing. habil.

Core Facility Microscopy And Materials Analysis Cmma I Ovgu
