Land-Craft - Center For Landscape Research In Sustainable Agricultural Futures
Agricultural production is a major driver of regional and global environmental deterioration, while at the climate change jeopardizes agricultural systems. Integrating knowledge on environmental impacts of agriculture on nutrient cycles and its importance as sink and source for greenhouse gases is a prerequisite to support the required transformational change of the agricultural sector as well as to ensure its environmental sustainability. Moreover, while reducing the environmental impacts also strategies for adapting agricultural systems to climate change need to be identified in order to secure food security and farmers livelihoods. These matters need to be addressed urgently. It is the vision of the Center for Landscape Research in Sustainable Agricultural Futures - Land-CRAFT to identify and quantify the multiple environmental as well as socio-economic benefits associated with the change of agricultural practices at farm and landscape scale and while reducing the climate impact of agriculture also to identify opportunities for adaptation. The vision of Land-CRAFT The green transition can only succeed if we better understand the processes that lead to GHG emissions and losses of nutrients to the environment and how landscape management may be adapted to mitigate the environmental footprint of agricultural production systems while increasing their resilience to climate change. Therefore, achieving the goals for the green transformation of agriculture requires detailed knowledge not only on the effectiveness of greenhouse gas mitigation measures, but as well a realistic assessment which options may be implemented at farm and landscape level. This requires a combination of basic and applied research and co-design of mitigation and adaptation measures.

Stromning
Strømning means flow in Danish. STROMNING does research and development and offers specialist consulting within fluid dynamics. STROMNING develops Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) models and software for simulation and analysis of fluid flows. STROMNING is specialized in interfacial and free surface flows as well as fluid-structure interaction. STROMNING software is mainly based on the open source CFD development kit OpenFOAM®. STROMNING also offers training and support in the use of OpenFOAM®. The National Defence Technology Centre
Future defence includes advanced technology as well as low-level infrastructure. The entire spectrum must be supported with defence technology research, education, continuing education and further training, testing, qualification and certification at the highest international level. The establishment of the National Defence Technology Centre creates the foundation for this support through coordinated and direct access for relevant authorities and companies to leading Danish research and development environments. The National Defence Technology Centre is a joint initiative of all eight universities in Denmark and five government approved research and development organisations (GTS institutes). The aim of the NFC is to provide a critical technological boost of the Armed Forces and the defence industry through interdisciplinary partnerships that combine technological innovation with civil, military, political and economic considerations. The Planet
The Planet is a Danish incorporated, founded in 1995. Our early portfolio includes interface concept development for renowned Danish electronics company Bang & Olufsen and CD-ROM design and Website for toy manufacturer LEGO’s first multimedia production, which won the Danish Design Award, The ID prize, and Danish Ad agencies Gold prize in 1996. Additionally, The Planets own website was the first Scandinavian site to receive a large number of International awards, among which have been Macromedia Shocked Site of the Day and The Original Cool Site of the Day. Since the late nineties The Planet’s main productive focus has been game development, and we have successfully produced and delivered numerous 2D and 3D arcade, action and puzzle games for large corporate clients such as LEGO and Carlsberg as well as for small start-ups. In November 2004, “Shroomz - Quest for Puppy” our most recent game production was awarded Web/downloadable game of the year at the 2004 Billboard Digital Entertainment Awards in Los Angeles.

Danish Epidemiological Society
DES has by 2016 approximately 430 members with a background in public health, statistics, medicine or other clinical areas. The Society publishes an electronic Newsletter (DES-Orientering), run an updated website and organizes meetings. The Society takes part in the IEA European Collaboration and is part of the Nordic Epidemiology Collaboration. The Society represents Danish epidemiologist in several committees and it is active in communicating important new research findings and research methods to its members, either through its meetings or by using our website, newsletter or other means. DES also takes part in the public debate for topics that influence our research infrastructure. DES has an open policy concerning memberships and welcome students as well as more established scientists or public health workers. The Society covers both clinical epidemiology and public health epidemiology.

Nordic Institute Of Asian Studies, University Of Copenhagen
NIAS - the Nordic Institute of Asian Studies - is an academically independent Nordic research and resource center, focusing on modern Asia from a predominantly social sciences perspective. NIAS is an integrated part of the University of Copenhagen with the status of a centre under the Department of Political Science. The study of Asia in the Nordic region is fragmented across many, relatively small, research environments. Therefore collaboration at a regional level is needed to ensure that support, networks and opportunities exist for scholars and students active in Asian studies in the Nordic region. Through the Nordic NIAS Council (NNC), in which leading Nordic universities and research institutions participate, NIAS organizes a well-functioning institutionalized cooperation that strengthens collaboration in the Nordic countries. NIAS is more than a research institute. We are also a resource centre containing a wide array of knowledge and skills, and with a broad network of contacts connecting people and institutions with expertise on Asia. Through conferences and workshops, accessible information resources, commentary on current affairs, and contact with media, government and businesses, we constantly seek to broaden knowledge of modern Asia in the Nordic region. The research at “The 3Bs” group is intrinsically interdisciplinary and it involves the convergence of materials science and chemistry together with cell and molecular biology, which is an exciting frontier for scientific development that holds promise for significant advances in human health. The main focus lays on the fabrication of blood substitutes, where we develop hemoglobin-based oxygen carriers to be used as an “oxygen bridge” when donor blood is not available.

Danish Development Research Network (DDRN) is a non-governmental organization comprising individual and institutional members based in any country. Membership is open to researchers, students, aid practitioners, consultants, private and public entities and others who are involved in the generation, communication and application of knowledge to support sustainable development in the Global South countries. DDRN communicates new research by any scientific discipline addressing Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). DDRN will widen the dialogue with the membership through new media formats, as resources become available.
