Statec Research
STATEC Research is the research division of STATEC, the National Institute of Statistical and Economic Studies of Luxembourg. The team of economists performs applied research primarily in the fields of productivity, entrepreneurship, and well-being, with an aim to better understand Luxembourg's social and economic development in a comparative perspective. STATEC Research contributes to the national policy debate and international scientific community. The team performs research on issues crucial to the public and policy makers. To general audiences, findings are released through conferences, news releases, and both short- and long- form reports. Results for the scientific community are published in peer-reviewed journals, such as the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences (PNAS), Economics & Human Biology, Ecological Economics, Economic Modelling, European Economic Review, Journal of Business Ethics, Journal of Economic Behavior and Organization, Kyklos, Macroeconomic Dynamics, Oxford Economic Papers, Research Policy, Review of Income and Wealth, Small Business Economics, Social Indicators Research, Structural Change and Economic Dynamics, and World Development. Prosciens is currently a trademark used by the freelance scientist Edelmiro Moman.
