It also aims to strengthen the reputation of Kadir Has in the field of energy, both in producing work that meets international standards and expanding the scope of the university’s educational and research activities. Finally, the center’s master’s program in Energy and Sustainable Development seeks to help educate a new cadre of young professionals who can tackle the various energy challenges that we will face in twenty-first Farklı birim ve disiplinlerden uzmanların çalışma yaptığı CESD’nin amacı, çeşitli enerji konularında Türkiye ve çevresiyle ilgili olarak yerel, bölgesel ve küresel çapta disiplinlerarası eğitim ve araştırma faaliyetleri yürütmek ve bu çalışmalar sonunda ortaya çıkan bilgi, yorum ve analizleri ulusal ve uluslararası kamuoyu ile paylaşarak toplumun sürdürülebilir kalkınmasına katkıda bulunmaktır. Merkez sayesinde, Kadir Has Üniversitesi’nde enerji konularında yürütülen eğitim ve araştırma faaliyetleri desteklenerek uluslararası standartlardaki çalışmalar geliştirilecek ve yeni uygulamaya konulacak faaliyetlerle de enerji alanındaki eğitim ve araştırmanın kapsam ve niteliği genişletilerek etkinliği artırılacaktır. Ayrıca, 21. yüzyılda enerji konularında karşı karşıya gelinen çeşitli enerji sorunlarının çözümü için gerekli insan gücünün yetiştirilmesine de katkıda bulunulacaktır.

Turkish Marine Research Foundation (TÜDAV), conducts over 20 years of research in marine protection and educational works in Turkey. The Foundation has published 59 books so far, 36 of which are English.
