Launched in 2007, ISKME’s OER Commons is an award-winning comprehensive digital public library and collaboration platform built to ensure the adoption and continuous improvement of open educational resources (OER). With nearly two decades of research and practice around collaborative engagement and professional learning among communities of educators, we have also worked to grow effective consortia of states, districts, schools, higher education institutions, and partner organizations globally around transforming teaching and learning through open education. Our goal in open education is to shorten the time between now and when every person in the world has unlimited access to the highest quality, and most effective, teaching and learning resources available. Through its OER services, ISKME helps to accelerate, promote, support the creation, discovery and use of free and open educational resources across multiple platforms and languages. Institute Of Translational Health Sciences
The Institute of Translational Health Sciences is dedicated to speeding science to clinic practice for the benefit of patients and communities throughout Washington, Wyoming, Alaska, Montana, Idaho, and beyond. ITHS promotes this translation of scientific discovery to practice by fostering innovative research, cultivating multi-disciplinary research partnerships, and ensuring a pipeline of next generation researchers through robust educational and career development programs. We are one of more than 60 Clinical and Translational Science Award sites nationwide working to change how biomedical research and training is performed. This national consortium was funded by the National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences, part of the National Institutes of Health. In the past, individual groups looked at health issues only from their perspective. We now realize that partnerships between scientists, clinicians, and communities are needed to tackle complex health issues. The ITHS is a partnership between the University of Washington, Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, and Seattle Children’s. We also collaborate with regional institutions, providers, and community organizations. More than 6,500 researchers from nearly 200 different organizations across the five-state WWAMI region have collaborated with us to attract grant funding, build their research teams, develop research tools, move research projects forward, and engage with patients and the community.

The mission of IANDS is to be the most reliable source of information in the field of near-death studies, encouraging scholarly study and the exchange of ideas about near-death, at-death and related experiences; disseminating educational information about them; serving as a common forum and community for experiencers and interested others; and facilitating the spread of knowledge to professional settings and people of all walks of life, religions, and cultures. IANDS is the informational and networking center in the field of near-death studies, the first organization in the world devoted to exploring near-death and similar experiences. Members are researchers, laypeople, academics, and caregivers; experiencers and non-experiencers; professionals and the general public; from every continent but the Antarctic. Like IANDS itself, the Association's publications and programs are unique. Formed in 1939, the ICAC is an association of cotton producing, consuming and trading countries. It acts as a catalyst for change by helping member countries maintain a healthy world cotton economy; provides transparency to the world cotton market by serving as a clearinghouse for technical information on cotton production; and serves as a forum for discussing cotton issues of international significance. The ICAC does not have a role in setting market prices or in intervening in market mechanisms. Member Benefits When countries become members of the ICAC, they give their Governments a voice in the most important discussions about international cotton issues. Members receive enhanced access to research from the world’s premier source of unbiased information about the global cotton industry, and they are also able to participate in cutting-edge cotton research and development initiatives.
