Yerevan Physics Institute

The Yerevan Physics Institute was founded in 1942 as a branch of Yerevan State University by brothers Academicians Abraham Alikhanov and Artem Alikhanian on square meters in Yerevan. A year later it was turned over to the Armenian Academy of Sciences. Later two high-altitude Cosmic Ray Stations were founded on Mount Aragats (3,200 m) and Nor Amberd.

Spc Armbiotechnology Nas Ra

The Scientific and Production Center “Armbiotechnology” NAS RA was established in September 2010 by the Decision of the Government of the Republic of Armenia as a result of merging CJS Institute of Biotechnology of the RA Ministry of Economy, the Center of Microbiology and Microbial Depository of NAS RA. Being the legal successor of the above organizations, the Center functions as the leading organization of the Republic of Armenia in the field of biotechnology, microbiology, biochemistry, bioorganic chemistry, molecular biology, genetics and gene engineering, food and biological safety and environmental protection. The Center’s activity is focused on solving urgent problems in studying microbial biodiversity, obtaining galenic, enzymatic, amino acid, peptide, antibacterial, insecticidal and other biologically active preparations, creating eco-friendly agricultural biotechnologies and metal bioleaching technologies, searching for alternative and renewable energy sources, ensuring ecological and food safety. The main goal of the Center is to contribute all possible efforts to increase the welfare of the population, the national economy, competitiveness, to expand the share of domestic enterprises in the domestic market and to enhance the efficiency of their activities through the introduction of knowledge-intensive and resource-saving technologies.

Institute Of Mathematics

The Institute of Mathematics of Armenian Academy of Sciences separated from latter Institute in 1971. In the early years the investigations carried out in the Institute concentrated on Function Theory. Gradually the sphere of investigations expanded and now includes Differential and Integral Equations, Functional Analysis, Probability Theory and Mathematical Statistics.

We are on a mission of solving conversational intelligence. We make research, open-source state-of-the-art approaches to NLP in DeepPavlov conversational AI technology stack, and apply our research to the real world problems. Our goal is to enable AI-application developers and researchers with the state-of-the-art tools for creation of next generation conversational systems. Currently, our leading product, DeepPavlov Library, has amassed about 7K stars on GitHub, about 500K downloads from PyPi, and its most popular model has a steady 1M+ downloads on HuggingFace on a monthly basis. DeepPavlov Library is an open-source conversational AI library built on PyTorch and Keras, designed for-development of production ready chat-bots and complex conversational systems-NLP and dialog systems research. We also invest in standardisation of dialogue systems evaluation tools in order to make such systems directly comparable. We organise the Conversational Intelligence Challenges at NIPS in partnership with Facebook AI Research, University of Montreal, McGill and Carnegie Mellon University. We share knowledge in conversational AI through DeepHack Hackathons and Science School. We are open to industrial, technological and academic collaboration.
