Verksamheten bedrevs fram till juni 2014 under närmare 15 år vid Spenshult sjukhus utanför Halmstad. FoU Spenshult har som målsättning att vara på nationell och internationell ledande nivå vad det gäller epidemiologisk, klinisk och patientnära forskning med fokus på artritsjukdomar, artros och långvarig smärta. Vi vill också skapa möjligheter för medarbetare utanför universitetssjukhusen att forska där de verkar. Vår största drivkraft ligger i att ny kunskap kan öka livskvaliteten hos dem vi forskar för, det vill säga personer med olika former av sjukdomar och problem i rörelseapparaten.

Hpc2n - High Performance Computing Center North
High Performance Computing Center North (HPC2N) is a national center for Scientific and Parallel Computing. We are a collaboration between universities and research institutes who form a competence network for high performance and parallel computing, grid and cloud computing, scientific visualization and virtual reality (VR), as well as effective mass-storage solutions, in Northern Sweden. The primary objective of the center is to raise the national level of competence in HPC and to transfer HPC knowledge and technology to new users in academia and industry. Today, the use of HPC include compute-intensive as well as data- and communication-intensive applications. HPC2N is one of six national centers funded by the Swedish National Infrastructure for Computing (SNIC), a metacentre under The Swedish Research Council.

Crs Reactor Engineering Ab
CRS has been supplying research equipment for the paper and pulp industry for more than 30 years. We have designed, constructed, manufactured and installed more than one hundred systems for fiber research, mostly for batch sizes of 0.5 – 5 kg OD, but both smaller and larger systems have been delivered. We have experienced different trends on the market over the years and specialized in both cooking and bleaching, as well as related needs like washing. We have designed both conventional and unconventional systems. We have put gradually larger focus into the growing biorefinery trend in the biomass industry, and can custom-build machines suitable for that type of research. A long history of working closely with our customers in laboratories all over the world has provided us with the know-how to supply cost-effective, high-quality and flexible systems for working with fibers in laboratory or pilot scale.

It is held on even years and gathers the scientific and industrial communities on these areas. The first ECCV was held in 1990 in Antibes, France, and subsequently organized all over Europe. Paper proceedings are published by Springer Science+Business Media.

Automatic Control, Lund University
The Department of Automatic Control at Lund University was created in 1965 and has today grown to hosting about 60 people. We give courses within the regular engineering program to students from different areas of engineering. We also have a PhD program where the students specialize in various theories and applications of automatic control. Our research is concentrated to seven areas: Modeling and Control of Complex Systems, Control and Real-Time Computing, Process Control, Robotics, Automotive Systems, Biomedical Projects and Tools. The department is hosting several large research projects funded by the European Commission and Swedish funding agencies. There is also active collaboration with industry.

The Governance and Local Development Institute (GLD) is a research institute based at the University of Gothenburg, Sweden, and at the Brooks School Public Policy, Cornell University. GLD was originally founded in 2013 at Yale University by Professor Ellen Lust, who has been serving as the Director since its start.
