Aaveq Robotics Aps
Aaveq Robotics develops unmanned boats to sail in arctic conditions, handling logistics between towns and smaller settlements. Our focus and first step is tackling the waste management problem in Greenland, halting the endless growth of garbage dumps in the smaller settlements, where it is not effective, nor always possible, to send larger manned ships to collect the waste. The large dumps are a threat to the environment, as well as the health of the local population. We were founded in April 2025, originating from a student team in SDU's DreamLab since 2022. We have secured the Innofounder grant, which runs from October 2025 to September 2026.

Gmt Robotics
GMT Robotics was created from a vision of changing the rebar industry. But as we set sails and began our journey, we quickly discovered, that our vision would not only change the industry, but completely reshape it. GMT Robotics is built upon 35+ years of experience within rebar machine manufacturing and selling. In 2010, Ulrich Deichmann left Pedax. The company he had help built and shape since the 80ties. After that, Ulrich decided to remain connected to the industry he had helped shape over all the years and therefor started to deal with second hand rebar equipment in the company he founded and named “German Machine Trade” (GMT). Today à “Global Machine Trade”, and over the years it has become the world’s leading reseller of refurbished second-hand equipment on the global western market. In 2015 Thomas Dall-Hansen joins Ulrich in GMT, and after traveling the world and understanding the rebar industry he soon realized that the industry had a lot of untapped potential, and that automation could be the way forward for the industry. – It was clear that the focus should not be on rebar steel processing, but rather handling and assembly of rebar. In 2018 Thomas and Ulrich started to investigate markets and started to look outside the industry for solutions which could be modified and implemented into our industry. With the support from clients, suppliers, software developers, robot manufactures, etc. Our 4 core products were born: “WeldMate”, “PickMate”, “Micro ARCAS” and “Dwall ARCAS”. In 2020 GMT Robotics was established. In the same year, the market and trusted clients showed us the support and we started manufacturing of all 4 solutions. All this could of course never have happened without some of the best people and employees supporting the journey that Ulrich and Thomas started.

Alterecho Techstars '25
AlterEcho is the Robotic Embodiment Platform for Life Sciences - from Remote Embodiment to Embodied AI. We enable skilled professionals to embody robotic avatars inside cleanrooms, containment zones, and hazardous environments through immersive interfaces - with precision control, spatial awareness, and zero physical presence in the critical environment. Today, critical operations depend on the human body being present in spaces that are fundamentally hostile to it - and to which it is fundamentally hostile. Hoods, gloveboxes, and isolators are workarounds - they limit throughput, expose operators, and don't scale. AlterEcho removes human presence from the point of operation while preserving the judgment and flexibility that complex procedures demand. Every operation performed through the platform captures structured data - from environments that have never been instrumented at this level before - building the foundation for embodied AI that evolves from human-guided teleoperation toward autonomous capability over time. This redefines who can do this work and how. Physically demanding, high-risk roles become precision robot piloting - reducing fatigue and exposure, and opening the field to a broader workforce. AlterEcho serves pharmaceutical manufacturers, advanced therapy producers, high-risk research laboratories, and clinical settings - wherever the conditions make human presence untenable. The outcome: safer operations, reduced contamination risk, fewer rejected batches, and controlled environments transformed from bottlenecks into remotely operated, intelligent workspaces. Founded by ex-Novo Nordisk robotics and AI engineers. Backed by Techstars and Innovation Fund Denmark. The platform is hardware-agnostic, designed to work across robot brands and models, with a working dual-arm prototype today. SXSW 2026 Robotics & Intelligent Systems Pitch Competition winner. EU-Startups Summit 2026 Pitch Competition winner.

Nordic Floor Robot
Nordic Floor Robot is a Danish robotics company transforming the future of professional floor grinding. Our mission is simple: to enhance – not replace – the craftsmanship of skilled floor specialists through intelligent automation. With more than 30 years of industry experience behind us, we have seen firsthand how traditional floor grinding is physically demanding, time-consuming and difficult to scale. Nordic Floor Robot introduces a new approach: a smart, mobile, and semi-autonomous robot that works with existing floor grinders to deliver consistent quality, higher productivity, and improved worker well-being. Our technology is developed in close collaboration with leading engineers and industry partners. The robot is designed to navigate large open areas independently, while craftsmen focus on edges, details, and quality control. The result is a safer work environment, reduced physical strain, and significantly more efficient use of time and resources. As part of our commitment to sustainability, the robot enables measurable reductions in energy consumption, waste, and unnecessary transport – supporting a greener future for the flooring industry. In 2026, Nordic Floor Robot will begin a structured testing program together with selected pilot companies across Europe. These collaborations will help refine the product toward full commercial launch. We are driven by innovation, Scandinavian design principles, and a strong belief that automation should empower people – not replace them.
