Makerlab Research Institute
The perfect world is only one generation away. It is really that simple: one generation with the right knowledge, skills, and determination is all it takes to fix things and create a better tomorrow for all of us. MakerLab was founded by a team of STEM enthusiasts to help create that generation, and we are instilling in our students the courage to forge ahead, think for themselves, and dare to do things differently. We refer to them as The First Generation. The first generation to make radical changes and dedicate themselves to correcting past mistakes, the first to invent zero-footprint products and services and eliminate pollution, the first to restore the oceans to their former glory. The first generation with the courage and resolution it takes to stand up, reject conventions, and invent better ways of doing things. The first generation with the advanced technical knowledge and creative skills required to make all their dreams and visions come true. MakerLab knows exactly what The First Generation needs to set the world ablaze. We equip them with up-to-date mechanical and engineering skills, teach advanced computer and coding tech, contemporary science, and just as valuable, we teach them the importance of thinking in unique ways, being courageous and doing something nobody else has ever done before. Our teaching methods are based on the individual level of knowledge and skills in each child, and our curriculum is adaptable - we adjust to the children's pace, not the other way round. Because we think it is crucial that, above everything else, learning new skills should be fun and exciting, and never feel overwhelming or difficult. We want our students to leave the MakerLab workshops with a smile on their faces, and an eagerness to return again.

Hellenic Technology Of Robotics Htr
HTR comes from the early foundations of field robotics, applied for space. Space robotics is an extremely challenging domain, currently in full evolution. HTR, with decades of accumulated prototyping experience, focuses on two relevant pillars of space robotics, planetary exploration and in-orbit services. We pride ourselves for our ability to adapt and take up engineering challenges for these domains, maintaining our core principles of rigorous tests and design iterations for a successful study. HTR is based in Greece, maintaining subsidiaries across Europe to allow for easy collaboration with international partners. Over the past years we have focused on developing, patenting and commercializing an all metal, elastic, variable stiffness rover wheel for planetary exploration, managing to out-perform all similar wheels currently on the market. For in-orbit servicing, we developed and patented a revolutionary docking system guaranteeing safe, low cost approach, detection, capturing and locking on unprepared, non cooperative targets, ranging from 100 to thousands of kg. We aspire to provide our solutions to the fast growing Lunar Exploration and Orbital Servicing economy.
