Modus Vivendi Oradea
We, Modus Vivendi, are a dynamic First Tech Challenge (FTC) team from "Mihai Eminescu" National College in Oradea, Romania. Founded on the principles of innovation and teamwork, we take pride in our well-rounded skill set and commitment to solving complex problems in the field of robotics. Our team is made of 14 gifted individuals from diverse backgrounds, each member contributing unique perspectives and expertise. We're fortunate to be surrounded by a supportive network of 30 volunteers who enrich our learning and development journey, fostering an effervescent community for everyone involved. We're organised into three major departments—engineering, programming, and marketing. The engineering arm handles design and fabrication, our programming unit takes on software development and automation, and our marketing squad leads public relations, fundraising, and community outreach. This organisational structure ensures smooth operations and allows each unit to play a crucial role in accomplishing our goals. Our hard work has earned us recognition in the FTC community. In 2019, we were privileged to clinch the 2nd place Inspire award and win the Winning Alliance award. We continued to build on that success by securing 3rd place in the Motivate category in 2020, an award in the Connect category in 2021, and 3rd place in Design category. These awards show our commitment to harnessing innovative technology, encouraging teamwork, and setting high standards in robotics engineering.
