BON SEDAN can be integrated in all consumer broadband applications: notebooks, mobile phones, residential gateways and access points or USB/PCMCIA accessories. With support for variable applications (Wi-Fi, WiMAX, Bluetooth, ZigBee, and even UWB ranging from 2 to 6 GHz) BON’s directional antennas outperform conventional omni-directional antennas across the charts, delivering between 10 dB to 20 dB more SNR. The SEDAN product line uses patent pending phased array technology with inherent MIMO 2X2 support for maximum wireless efficiency. In addition, unwanted interference is lowered by as much as 30dB and spectral efficiency is significantly increased at the mobile phone level. Better SAR results and improved impedance mismatch behavior are an added bonus for mobile phones. The Smart Electrically Steered Directional Antenna (SEDAN) product line allows wireless systems to seamlessly integrate directional antenna technology. The SEDAN products are automatically controlled electrically steering the antenna in any desired direction in less than 1 microsecond. The antenna can then compensate for the relative movement of the product it is embedded into, fast enough not to be noticed by the rest of the wireless network.
