Since 2018 Alfa Trafili has been acquired by Icel Group which is one of the most important European producers of low voltage cables. The facility is completed by raw material and finished product reception, inspection and storage departments, technical department and testing-inspection room. The processing departments of copper and aluminum create the entire production cycle: casting, drawing, stranding and twisting. The production of Wire Rod is realized with last generation electric oven, fully automated and with zero impact in terms of emissions, which combined with the use of high quality cathodes ( registered registered grade “A”), allows the output of oxygen free wire rod with an oxygen content of 2ppmm. The diameter can be of 8 mm and be supplied in coils with an average weight of 4 tons but with the possibility of maximum 5 tons.
