BPT is an independent digital solutions, simulation and service company with production domain experts working on a wide range of new and established energy systems. BPT has developed bolt-on applications (BPT-SimApps portfolio) to well-known process simulators like HYSYS and UniSim that meet the requirements for accuracy for the green energy processes in the contexts of feasibility studies, design and optimization. These applications are crucial to be able to analyze start-up and shutdown scenarios for energy systems including hydrogen, ammonia, methanol, electrofuel, CCUS and concentrated solar power as they incorporate fully dynamic unit operations such as electrolysis and reactors. The plant specific BPT simulators are also engineered with a lifecycle approach to be used in design, control system validation, operator training, operational procedures, commissioning, start-up and performance monitoring throughout years of operation. Technically and financially, BPT de-risk low carbon and new energy system facilities at an early stage by applying the best-in-class dynamic simulators including the enhancing and necessary bolt-on applications with emphasis on efficient, accurate and robust solutions. BPT is engaged with energy companies, engineering houses, automation vendors and investors as well as a wide range of specialist companies within digitalization and advanced model-based applications. BPT has unmatched domain knowledge within production and process facilities.
