International Aikido Federation
The International Aikido Federation (IAF) is a federation of aikido organisations which are directly affiliated to the Aikikai Hombu in Japan, the ‘mother house’ of Aikido. It is the only worldwide federation of such Aikido organisations and at present it has 49 members. Organisation The organisational structure of the IAF is a unique blend of the ‘vertical’ and the ‘horizontal’. The IAF President is always the Aikido Doshu and a body called the Senior Council has the power to monitor the decisions taken by the IAF Congress, in order to ensure that the federation does not deviate from the ‘way’ of aikido, as taught by the Founder, Morihei Ueshiba. These decisions are taken at the Congress by the delegates from each member organisation. The Congress meets every four years under the presidency of the IAF Chairman and makes its decisions by means of the democratic process of debate and voting. Each member organisation has one vote.

Sunrockers Shibuya are a professional basketball club based in Shibuya, Tokyo. The Sunrockers are member of the Japan Professional Basketball League know as B.LEAGUE, currently playing in the division one (B1). The Sunrockers are originated as Hitachi Sunrockers in owned by Hitachi, Ltd. However, the original team formed by Hitachi was established in 1935 and contributed the dawn of Japanese basketball history. Currently the team is operated by Sunrockers, Ltd, a subsidiary company of SEGA SAMMY Holdings. The Sunrockers moved in Shibuya, Tokyo as their franchise when the B.LEAGUE began in 2016. The team have called the Aoyama Gakuin University Memorial Hall home. The Sunrockers are committed to the city of Shibuya and diversity, equality and inclusion, and the club provides opportunities that make a positive differences toward people in Shibuya and Tokyo. On the court, the Sunrockers have won two All Japan Basketball Tournament, so called the Emperor’s Cup in 2015 and 2020.

Kanazawa Soke (10th Dan Black Belt) is one of the world most renowned and respected traditional karate masters of all time. He is the first karateka to have won the notorious All Japan karate Championship. In 1957 kumite champion (while nursing a broken wrist) In 1958 kumite and kata champion Although trained in Judo in his early years, Kanazawa Soke took up karate whilst at University under the late headmaster of JKA shotokan, sensei Matsatoshi Nakayama. Kanazawa Soke is also one of the few remaining karateka privileged to have studied under Master Gichin Funakoshi, the famous Okinawin schoolteacher who brought karate to mainland Japan from Okinawa and founded the Shotokan style. In 1978, Kanazawa Soke set up SKIF (Shotokan Karatedo International Federation). SKIF is now the worlds largest Shotokan Karate Association under one chief instructor, having several million members in over 130 countries.
